A little flimsy but they get the job done
Update: almost 8 years later; these are still fine and still lifting roasted birds from their roasting dishes every week. Definitely should have been a 5 star review. In the end their width helps with keeping everything steady. Perfect.I'm afraid there isn't much to say about these. As a product they are good value for money and they achieve what we needed. They are considerably wide, pictured is a full roast chicken for reference and hopefully the picture allows you to see how we are using them. Their width helps, I believe, getting the meat moved and keeping everything stable. They feel slightly on the flimsy side, but I really do mean slightly here. The design of the spokes allows for it to be easily inserted and retracted from the meat. We have had no difficulties with using these yet.I'd recommend these and will be putting a second order in soon for a family member. If you would like any further detail feel free to comment and I can update the review and answer questions or post more pictures as requested. Why not 5 stars? If they last for 6 months then they will be 5 stars to me and I will update.

Handle with care!
I bought these as a gift for my daughter, however I have had occasion to use them whilst cooking Sunday lunch at her house. They are a very good product and do the intended job admirably, however the only reason that I haven't given them 5 stars is because of the safety aspect. The prongs are extremely sharp and could do a whole lot of damage. I've shown them to the grandchildren and told them that they are absolutely forbidden to touch these, never mind play with them. Consequence of them being disobedient on this one would result in every single toy, book, crayon and princess dress thrown out! As for mum and dad, told them not to was these in the dishwasher but to wash by hand immediately after use and then put them in a safe place out of reach of little hands. I intend to source two blocks of cork or something similar to cover the prongs when not in use. Suggestions anybody else? Kitchen Kraft please take note, I for one would gladly pay a few more pounds for a protective cover for these.

Lifts meat easily
I use these a lot for chicken and joints of meat in pressure cooker and air fryer. They are also good for lifting meats out of a baking tray. They are easy to wash, I do in hot soapy water, the handles are easy to grip, the curved prongs are strong enough to support meats and will also stab in to lift. I have used this type of fork for many years, these are better than my previous ones, the curve of the prongs slide easily under joints. I recommend these, I would buy again either for myself or a gift.

Ideal for roasts
Absolutely great I bought 2 sets of these as very good for lifting chicken out of roasting Tim's and other meats that have been cooked for hours like lamb to make it soft so it falls apart. Extra set was for my brother who was very happy with these too
