A solution to wet, sweaty feet!
These socks are truly something else. Wonderful, comfortable, not scratchy, thin, wash well - by far the best woolen socks I've ever had! I bought two packs and will buy more.I have extreme issues with my feet sweating and in standard cotton socks, I end up being soaked after a couple of hours. It took me a long time to learn that cotton is the wrong choice of material for socks if you suffer from hyperhidrosis and that wool is your best bet! However, I was then faced with a selection of extremely thick socks that felt scratchy and were massive in size. These socks are thin, keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Yes, you can wear woolen socks in summer! A real life-changing revelation. I even wear them to gym. Natural properties of wool mean you won't feel wet when you're sweating as wool doesn't soak up the liquid the way cotton does, instead it lets the sweat evaporate through the fibres, aiding your feet in feeling drier. These socks virtually improved my quality of life, I can now go about my day without feeling disgusting with drenched feet. The only downside is sizing - I'm not quite sure why is it that all woolen socks on the market are grossly oversized? I wear UK 6-6.5 size shoes and wear these socks in size 3.5-5. In size 6-8.5 they would be absolutely massive, far too long, with heel at my ankle instead of where it's supposed to be. This is obviously annoying, but can be avoided - just size down when buying.Overall, I can't recommend these enough.

Lovely socks, do not believe bad reviews
I bought these socks because I am wanting to cut down my purchases of man-made products. I read the reviews about these socks shrinking and not being warm. First of all they are warm, especially if your feet are warm to begin with and the socks are warm before you put them on; after washing they were more fluffier and even more warm than first worn. To test for shrinkage I decided a fair experiment to carry out on my new socks. In the picture there is an new, unwashed, unworn black sock and a worn & washed red & white & grey and white stripe sock. The red & white sock I washed in the machine at 30 degrees, inside out as instructed. It was also washed in a wash bag then line dried over the airer on a radiator. The grey & white sock I hand washed in hand wash liquid inside out and dried also on the radiator airer. As you can see there is no difference in size between the new, unworn, unwashed black sock and the others, apart from creasing because the washed ones have not been ironed flat like the unworn one, who irons socks anyway? I have even put the machine washed sock on top of the non-worn, unwashed black sock so you can see there is no shrinkage. The washed ones still fit perfectly and look lovely with my new, about town ankle boots. I shall be buying more. Those people who shrunk their socks possibly washed them above 30 degrees and/or used the drier to dry them, something I never do with all my socks because I know it will shrink them. Btw, wool garments do bobble - I have a merino wool aran sweater I hand knitted during lockdown and it is slightly bobbling in places, a small price to pay for the comfort and saving the planet. However, I have not noticed these socks bobbling or wearing thin yet.

Good quality, nice feel.
These socks are nice quality merino wool. They aren’t as thick as I had hoped but good for everyday work shoes. I suffer with very cold feet so will need something thicker for the winter but they are good for this Autumn weather when I don’t find cotton warm enough.

The wife loves them
Bought for up coming winter and I can not get them off my wife's feet. Bought the men's also and finding them to be so comfortable and warm. They look to be very well constructed and feel so good on your feet. Go on treat your self you will not look back.

Poor quality and false description
This company doenst clearly state how many pairs it sells so you pay £12 for one pair of socks. If you want to return you have to pay £10 to send it back to poland. The socks are also thin and flimsy and rip.Do yourself a favour and buy something else. Far better merino wool socks out there.

Not same quality
Based on last year's purchase of these lovely socks I bought again, first thing I noticed was there was no vitsock logo at the soles - this will make it harder to identify amongst the many black socks I own.Once I put them on they were nowhere near the quality and feel of my previous purchase. I suspect I either have a different type of sock or the quality has degraded

Warm without the added thickness
Bought these as I wanted warmth without extra thickness. These fit the bill in that respect - I got navy as they didn’t have black - these are a dark navy. These allow me to wear any of my boots without the toe crushing thicker socks cause.Socks are certainly warmer than my ordinary year round socks (cotton) but haven’t yet worn them in very cold weather so unable to really comment on just how much warmer they will be - at this price I was happy to try them
