Telling the Time Book 2: Year 2, Ages 6-7

Excellent follow on from 1st book. my son completed the book and can fully understand how to tell the time and different ways of 'saying' the time. would highly recommend

I'm a huge fan of these booklets (they're not quite books):- easy to read, clear instructions- varied exercises, perfect to do in small stages- each activity builds upon previous ones; each subject is split across several workbooks which makes it easier to lesson plan.When comparing to other activity books, there is more focus around engaging the young mind and practice, whereas I've found that other books (by other publishers) focus too much on pretty pictures, etc.).Some of the tasks require adult assistance but overall my son has found these engaging and loves to do them.

Understanding time with lots of examples.

I would say its helped my six year old in some way but he still needs other learning materials alongside.

Helpful for homeschooling. Each section builds on the last, enabling independent working as well as guided.

This is such a brilliant range of books. I have a reluctant learner who loves this books. What is intriguing is there is no colour or stickers which I thought he liked. Its just written in a great way to explain concepts and then practice what has been explained. This is the second book in the telling the time range which we have struggled with. But the first book in the range really helped get the concepts O'clock, quarter past, half past, quarter too and this book takes it to the next level with 5 minutes past etc.

A lovely book for children wanting to learn the time 6-8 year olds. Easy learning, even the difficult bits, hours, mins, seconds, to and from the hour. Worth having and saving for other children or grandchildren!
