Helpful and soothing natural balm
This balm has a delicate lavender aroma, and seems soothing and quite effective. It's very greasy though. I rubbed a bit on a large bruise on my lower leg. A heavy metal rack fell on it about three weeks ago and it's been very sore to touch. After three applications of this balm, it's far less painful. I rubbed a bit on the operation scar from surgery to repair my left fractured hip in February. It's still so sore but this balm has made it slightly less so. Will persevere and see how things progress. I would recommend this product.

It's a balm...
not a cream, so don't expect it to disappear like a cream. I bought this for dry hands and stiffness in my index finger (using a mouse all day). It's worked really well. My hands and joints feel much better. Take the time to rub it in and enjoy not doing anything for a few minutes. I use a few times a day especially at bedtime. I think it smells lovely.

Effective but oily
Gorgeous smell, and definitely seemed to ease my bruised and swollen hand after a fall. However, it doesn’t absorb well and leaves a very greasy residue, which renders it unsuitable for me to use during the daytime or at work, as it made my grip very slippery and left oily fingermarks everywhere. Will stick to using it overnight instead.

Very good pain relief and improved mobility
Very happy with my purchase - it's indeed soothing!I'm recovering from a knee partial meniscectomy, as well as having a meniscal tear in the other knee. I've only been using the balm for 2 days but I felt a great pain relief in my knees after application. Scent is pleasant, packed with natural ingredients and aromas which I find fantastic! It absorbs well, leaves the skin pleasantly moisturised but not greasy. I'll definitely repurchase and recommend!

A gorgeous soothing balm, perfect for sports injuries! Thank you!
If you prefer the texture of a balm rather than a cream, which I do, then this is perfect. I have used arnica for sports injuries for many years but find this product by far the nicest to use. Creams transfer onto clothes etc, oils while great, are just .... a bit oily and not great if you knock the bottle over. This balm smells gorgeous and the menthol in it gives just enough of a warming effect to soothe strained and torn muscles.I’ve lived with this product for a few weeks now having purchased it after a massive fall from an aerial hoop where I hit every part f my upper body - fortunately onto a big crash mat! My aged bod still hurts but this balm has definitely helped and I use it pretty much after any workout. I’m in my mid 50s and do a lot of aerial sport as well as dance at adv/pro level.Although I understand about the advertising/publicity issues with natural medicines and the claims of efficacy, is there a way off saying this isn’t a “nice moisturiser” since there do appear to be some negative reviews by those who have purchased this as a hand cream or facial moisturiser! Or even to say not for facial use/ not suitable for sensitive skin since menthol around the eyes or on a sensitive skin could well cause a severe reaction.

Early days; but, so far, so good
I’d like to start with; I googled ‘products that state % active ingredients’- this was the only one that I could find that did this. (IMO; if % not stated, it could be very little, without breaching any law/standard).I’m 62, and have had significant knocks to both knees in recent years, resulting in periodic pain (seemingly random, but definitely worse in colder weather). I do a job where I’m on my feet for 10 hours, plus much up/down motion, which stresses my knees.Last week my R knee was really bad, so I bought a NSAID product, only to find, on reading the leaflet, that it’s seriously not recommended if you have an ulcer. So, I bought this. So far I’ve had 2 nights at work where I’ve been pain free in my knees, (plus I applied to elbow which was ‘talking to me’, and it remained trouble free). There is (obviously) a scent to the product (I like it); but it’s not ‘Vicks strong’, if you’re sensitive to strong smells.Avoid using on broken skin, because it stings a bit.Definitely happy so far.

It is nice and not greasy. I think it is helping ligament pain.
I like the form of this ointment.and I also like the tin it comes in easy to open and use and looks good. Easy to use and rubs in. No scent which if perfect and I do think my hip ligaments are less sore for sure.It is still early days but I do think this is a good mix and I will go on using it as the pain is far less now. Great pot of stuff.
