Roberts 'Blutune 65' DAB/DAB+/FM RDS Bluetooth Sound System with Dock for iPod/iPhone/iPad - Marine Teal

Love the colour!! I had one of these previously which after many years stopped working. This is easy to use and set up. Sound quality is fantastic. Very happy.

I bought this in 2016 and really liked it - until today when the catch to lift the back of the Iphone dock snaped off and fell into the case. It's had really light use and the dock mechanism even lighter use. Bit dissapointed if I'm honest given the build quality expected.

Pros: Excellant DAB reception & very good speaker system. Cons: Needs lightning extension if your iPhone or iPad has a case. I bought the Blutune 65 for the kitchen, because (a) the Panasonic DAB radio in the kitchen suffered from poor reception, and (b) the attached Bose Soundlink Mini resulted in too many buittons to push. Is the sound as good as the Bose Soundlink Mini - no, it didn't expect it to be. But the stereo speakers and subwoofer on the Blutune 65 is nearly as good as! Ignore the reviews that say that the bass is too loud or too soft - it all depends on personal taste, and the volume. The main thing is that the Blutune 65 has adjustable treble & bass (unlike the Blutune 50). The system lost the 5th star because of the docking station. I estimate that 95% of iPhone (and iPad) owners use protective cases. Why can't designers build docking stations to suite? I've ordered a couple of lightning extnders - hopefully one will work.

an excellent product which is great for radio, bluetooth and ipod. be careful tho u may require an adaptor for older ipods(like my ipod classic 120gb ) but solved easily by the customer serviced dept. by purchasing connector from amazon. may be interesting if a similar model could be developed as above but also with cd player! no external dab radio aerial required either as there is a retractable one already fitted to the unit..an excellent extra included in the price.

This makes an amazing gift for any age. I got this for my 10 year old daughter, she loves it! I had to get my other daughters to set it up,because I'm useless at this sort of stuf, they managed to get it up with in minutes. The speakers are amazing there so load and clear. Also the Bluetooth is easy to do and works amazingly. The raiding s a bit more complicated but if you follow the instructions you can get it up in minutes. Arrives exactly when you want it to! This is a brilliant buy, great value. I would differently recommend this product

Good product however you would be better off and cheaper buying one of those Makita or De walt builders radios as they have a better sound and reception and are much cheaper.

So pleased with this. Great sound quality. Knew my old ipod classic would not fit the dock but also bought a good quality lead from Amazon and ipod works a treat through the Aux socket - just have to have the volume a bit higher (remember to turn it down before switching back to radio though). And bonus, the colour (teal) matches my room

....if I wanted a DAB radio, I could get one far cheaper. It was the IPod dock I wanted, however I knew it wouldn't house my 160gb Classic, so asked the merchant if an adaptor was available. Sadly all I got back was a thinly veiled criticism for wanting to use 9 year old tech in something manufactured more recently. Not great service. If anyone knows (as I can't find one on Amazon) where I can get an IPhone to IPod Classic adaptor, please leave a link!!
