Good tool but slight adjustment would be best of all
Ideal for the size and portability. Only a couple of improvements are required.Firstly it pays to put a bit of a sharper edge on the spade if you intend to dig into more than really soft ground.Secondly I know it’s been made for compactness but the handle would be far better if it was 50 - 75mm (2 -3”) longer.Overall very satisfied as it comes if the intention is for it to be used very occasionally eg on a hike or recreational purposes.I accept it isn’t designed to be used in a work environment. If that’s what you after then it would be wise to buy the proper tools for the job

Compact and useful folding spade / pick
Compact and useful folding spade / pick. The item is very easy to alter to spade or pick. You can also alter the angle of the handle. The spade also has one side which is serrated which is another great feature. I purchased the item for gold panning and it will be ideal for getting into gravel and the like.

it is a shovel, i made holes
great shovel for digging myself into another hole made by my bad choices in life.great for hole digging, i find you lift 30% more dirt while humming, i hope this helps you

But heavy but solid
Bought this with the idea of taking it camping for the likes of bushcraft etc.It's built like a tank, solid, weighty good when using.The only downside is the weight. You wouldn't feel it much if your pack is already heavy, but this thing ain't super light.It works perfectly for digging fire pits, and to be honest I keep it in the boot of the car 24/7...really handing if you get stuck in snow and ice or even boggy mud.Highly recommend
