Hole in the middle works same as a massage pillow to let you breath comfortably while blocking out ambient light from your surroundings. Places for your arms and optional filler for hole if you sleep on top and want a full surface. Great buy, very useful.

I love it! It fits my nose and mouth through the hole for breathing when facing down. I wouldn't recommend this for people who want to use this for eye surgery recovery because it partly covers my eyes; this is fine for me though, because I plan to use it for desk napping and airplane travel and the darkness of the hole will be perfect for napping in bright areas. The only reason I give it a 4/5 star is because it came with a really strong, chemical smell. I'm going to air it out for a day or two before I plan on sticking the cover in the wash.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Excellent product. Bought it for my wife to use at the office. Compact and conventional. Good thing to have around for those afternoon slumps.

i bought this specifically for the hole for my sensitive ears- i have similar shaped pillows without hole that are great for helping me stretch my tight neck backwards when i have a migraine- not every time but the other pillows have saved me from taking medication if i catch it soon enough. i have comfortably slept on my other pillows on my back and when turning to my side the hole would add comfort to my pained earplugged-ears, but this pillow is the hardest stiffest foam i have ever felt & a little too high- it is in no way comfortable for face or head, and the neck maybe only for a short time of traction. also note the hole is only big enough for your nose/mouth (and i have a child size head) but your brow will hurt pressing into this in no time, plus the chemical smell is strong. i am only considering keeping this for the hole in the cover to modify my current pillows, but this pillow is a major hard pass otherwise for sure. it could pass for a knee pillow if necessary.

This thing is awesome. I know for a fact people will be making lots of fun of me for catching me using this silly chinese looking contraption but uhh… their loss? Super firm so it doesnt collapse under the weight of your fat head, the hole in the center fits my face perfectly, not obstructing my nose or mouth and only halfway covering my eyes so I get just enough darkness. The removable pillow in the center is very plush when you DO want to lay on the side. And surprisingly the fabric doesn’t smell bad! Though I still plan to remove and wash the cover so I at least dont feel like im inhaling factory fumes when napping on this thing. My only complaint would be that it was SO HARD to take the cover off to wash when I tried. It chipped my nail and the fabric ripped upon trying to change which im not too happy about at all. The product listing needs a tutorial video for changing it without needing to be to aggressive.

Works well. The pillow had a bit of an odd smell when I took it out of the packaging. But that went away about airing out for a bit.

Smaller than I expected but it's great for travel and it's pretty comfortable. The case broke a bit after one wash when I tried to put the case back on which was disappointing. Overall, don't regret this purchase.

Very good desk pillow. Allows for comfortable napping. Does not strain muscle in arms and back when looking for that quick relaxing nap after a long period of working on a computer.
