Brilliant little box
Popped a SIM card in, powered it up, it flashed all of its lights due to a software update, and voila 740mb (average) 5G speeds. I'm a heavy user, has 27 devices connected as well as a Sky Glass. This router handles everything I throw at it. Long WiFi range. The thing beats my old virgin superhub3 in every single way. Best money I've ever spent.

Pretty useless to be honest
Used it in Liverpool where the 5g & 4g signals are amazing…..not on this device they’re not.Firstly it arrived in bad shape, it say’s refurbished so I expected it not to be perfect, but this thing had black marks all over the top & scuff marks on the bottom/sides.It had NOT been factory reset and upon looking into the settings found text messages from previous users SIM cards as well as they’re personal settings so had to reset it myself.Used a 3 network data SIM card given its a 3 device & is LOCKED TO 3 NETWORK!It NEVER connected to the 5g network at all, only the 4g network.Speeds never went over 10mbps up/down, ping was out of this world in the 4digits & signal strength was poor almost everywhere, to test if this is normal for this unit I had a friend bring his 5g hub round to test it,His speeds were consistently over 180mbps up/down & sometimes hit over 380mbps which is what I’d expect in Liverpool given the amount of masts & my distance from them being no more than a 1/4 mile, that being said his provider and device are Vodafone not 3, the 3 network just doesn’t seem to be very good in Liverpool at all,I have my phone and iPad on the Vodafone network and Speedtest are consistently over 100mbps so I’m convinced it’s a combination of the device and the carrier 3.If you don’t want a LOCKED device that only uses the 3 network, don’t want your ping to be sky high & don’t want a 5g device that doesn’t connect to the 5g network, then just avoid this.I don’t write reviews often but I’m not happy so if I can save you the time and hassle of this then I’m glad to help.As for me, I’ve just had to buy the NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 Pro which has set me back £900, but at least I know it’s going to provide me with a consistently high service.

So far so good
My 5G signal is not that good at home, even in London, but this hub does a great job. Very reliable connection. I recommend for the price, £129 applying the coupon.

Excellent 5G Speeds !
I have been thinking about replacing my Sky broadband for a while as it's becoming so expensive. I popped my 5g sim into this and save myself £25 per month. I'm well happy with the 5g speeds too! Brilliant device for the money

Antennas are very very flimsy
Title says it all really. One connector on the unit was broken right out of the box. The second one was loose. The unit had/has potential. That said it was a reconditioned unit, new ones might fair better.

No!
A brilliant device, but a recent software update basically killed it. Not possible to roll back either. If you get one.... disable auto updates BEFORE you put your SIM in. (Deny it internet access initially)

Great alternative to cable, if your in a strong 5G area
Great alternative to cable, if your in a strong 5G areaWith a Smarty (3 Network) data sim in it flies!I live in a good 5G reception area and, after a month, I haven't found any problems with this little router.Read the other reviews to get set up details. They are great!

Lasted Less Than 2 Minutes
spent £20 on smarty sim card, put it in router, turned router on, all came on, connected phone, did speedtest - 275mb then boom went off an stinks of burning plastic.update - bought a second one, to get it to work uv got to wedge the power lead in - if you touch any part of the cable it goes off again.when was working it would never get a 5g signal, jus stuck on 4g no matter where you tried it.beginning to think that these all got sent back and are been sold as renewed for a reason.
