I have annoying thick, unruly hair, will this keratin work without heat?

i have nightmare hair too, but i only use john frieda products and when washed i blow dry and use straiteners which leaves it silky and straight. so far ever the rain doesn't harm it. hope that helps by the way my natural hair is wavy, curly and dry
