Deerseeker Archery 52" Longbow Traditional Handmade Recurve Bows Ambidextrous Horsebow Set for Adults & Youth Hunting Target Shooting 20-70lbs

Beautiful bow! Really well made, easy to pull, shoots an arrow a great distance. I am using it "Turkish" with a thumb ring and the arrow loaded to the right of the stave and two finger European with the arrow loaded to the left of the stave, both work well. This bow does not have a shelf on the hand hold, so it is abi-dextrose and can be used for both syles of shooting, and both left and right handed people equally. Highly recommended. Designed well, light pull for good amount of range, good for big kids, teens, women, and smaller men. Not a toy.

I have been shooting this style of bow for a while now. So here are my thoughts. Mine is a 45lbs @28” I shoot about a 30”draw. So it’s about 53lbs. It has a very narrow arrow pass and shoots very well. I have been shooting about 40lbs. The draw stacks quickly after 28”. But is still smooth. The picture attached is 13 yards shooting at a 1 1/2 inch target. A little right but that is the learning curve. In about an hour I had the sight picture down. I shoot about 150 arrows a day so the curve could be a little different if you don’t shoot as much. I shoot about a 500 grain arrow. I do recommend this bow. It is a little heavy than my others. But the weight feels good. If you are new to shooting these bows I do think that 40lbs is a better place to start. This is worth the money very satisfied with this bow.

I have had no problems at all with this bow, it's really good looking and a lot of fun to use. Once I started shooting it properly, from the right side, using a thumb draw, things started going really well. The first bow I bought was of comparable price but this one is much higher quality. I'm just getting into archery so I'm glad I invested into this one instead of giving up due to my prior bad purchase.

I purchased a 65 lbs bow. First thing I did when I got it is measure the draw weight with my scale. It's 5 lbs under sits at 60 lbs at 28. The issue i have is I paid the price of a 65 lbs bow. The price for a 60lbs bow is 30 bucks cheeper.. so why am I paying for a 65lbs bow when it's 60lbs? Other than that I really like the bow.

The media could not be loaded. I love this bow! It is strong, fast, accurate and compact. It has been great for me to learn thumb draw on, I normally shoot Mediterranean, which I can also easily do with this bow as well. The finish on was perfect, even the risers on the limbs were glassed over. I've read those falling off is a common issue with other budget horse bows. The only thing I would recommend is getting a solid thumb ring if you are getting above 50#. The one you get is good quality but is in the soft stye and you will feel in after a couple dozen shots.As for the Deerseeker company, I have never had as good customer service as I have had dealing with them. I have bought a few bows, the 54" long bow and the youth bow, and I would highly recommend them all. But I did snap my first 70# long bow, and I contacted Deerseeker and they just sent me a whole new bow! That one has been working great for years and I have shot thousands of arrows all while still using the original string.

Love the bow, but the handle is very small. I added a little sports tape to it. Also the arrows they provide are a little stiff. But the bow shoots great with the right arrows.

Love the bow, I shot 50 plus arrows a few minutes ago - very happy. Shoots straight no vibration. Consider buying a fast flight string with the bow. I purchased a 35 pound bow due to shoulder issues but it feels tiny bit under powered or I am getting stronger. anyway, great bow! Great bow, I read this is young people - not true! It's a great for anyone. You could use this hunting, 40 pounds and above. Powerful bow, I have one for two years and love. Thank you Deerseeker!!!

I've had this biw for more than a year now and still my favorite out of the 4 bows I own. Smaller and lighter than others while still packing the same punch. But it seems to have some strange effect where if i miss what I'm aiming at it will pefectcy nail a log or rock or unfortunaly placed squirrel seems to have a trageting system lol

I am quite happy with this. I'm new to archery. It's light and fun to shoot.

I purchased this bow to learn something new and so far I love it. It is light weight, quite easy to shoot although I haven’t learned to shoot with my thumb yet. Seems well made so far. I have only shot about 100 arrows.. so far.. so good.

Designed after the Tatar bow, it seems like good craftsmanship for the most part, my string grooves were smooth unlike what other reviewers have said. Shoots great. Only problem I would say I have with it is the grip is quite small for a larger hand.

While not perfectly historically accurate, it is a beautiful and very compact bow.While not advertized to do so, it has had no issues with my 31" draw length in the past 6 weeks and no sign of it weakening for it.The draw is smooth and at 28" it weighs in at 24#, just a hair under the advertised 25#. To me this is not an issue as I mostly wanted a low poundage bow that was ambidextrous to indroduce friends to the sport of archery.The thumb "tab" it comes with isn't anything to write home about, but may suffice, although I would suggest getting a brass or bone thumb ring, or simply forgoing that and using your release device of choice if you're not too hung up on learning a specific type of archery. For me it has done ok with 1 finger over and three under, but I would not risk string walking this bow.I'm not sure if it was suppoaed to come with a stringer, but mine did not have one: keep this in mind and order one like the limbsaver if this is your first bow.
