Plastic drain plug good
Still Blows my mind that an oil drain plug is plastic. Good quality for plastic I guess

The correct part for a Corvette C8 Z06
It isn't actually necessary to replace this oil tank drain plug at every oil change but for this price, why wouldn't you? I compared the part number on the part with the stock one that came off my 2025 Corvette C8 Z06/Z07 and they were identical. So, it is a perfect fit if you have a new C8 Z06. Just be careful when removing the plug from the oil tank because the oil will come out faster than you can imagine!

I can't believe Chevy put a plastic drain plug on any vehicle. Bought as a spare for WHEN it breaks. Only Chevy I have ever bought (WIFE wanted it...). This plug is like changing the oil at a NASCAR race, pull the plug and less than 10 seconds later it is drained, My drain pan barely kept up. This was a great price on Amazon and an original GM part so I guess the quality is as good as it gets, for a Chevy. Delivery was fast also.

Genuine GM part
I ordered this drain plug so I would have a replacement. I change my own oil and these drain plugs are abs plastic, so there's always a possibility of a failure or breakage. This plug is a genuine GM part and a exact replacement for my vehicle. Just a little peace of mind, having a spare!
