Very useful for undergrad classes
I took biology 30 years ago and several members of my class had bought this book on their own. I never bought at that time but it always stuck with me. Flash forward and now I'm planning to go to nursing school and I have retake most of the science classes I took way back when because they expired. I bought this coloring book because it makes you stop and look things slowly and step by step as you color. I have used this for biology, microbiology, and A&P. Its undergrad level but there are things where it goes in depth. My current microbiology class is a nightmare. I got this book out to understand glycolysis and the TCA cycle. The information in it along with the information from my class helped me to understand it. Covered in the book are cells, DNA, microscopes, genes, ecology, ATP and A&P along with a whole lot of other things. I don't know if I'll use all of it, but it is helpful to slow down and really look at whatever topic I'm studying. I'm a visual learner so this book was great for me. I would recommend it as a supplement for a your biology science classes.

The best Biology coloring book!
This is a great way to study the basic concepts of Biology, for those of us who are visual learners. Coloring is also relaxing, making it a low-stress study strategy.

Informational & Fun
Love this book because it combines learning with the relaxing activity of coloring. The information is thorough, concise and the images are very informative. Great for all people who love science. Makes learning, or refreshing your memory of the subject, fun, enjoyable and engaging.

Biology Coloring Book
I found this coloring book very helpful to remembering biology terms and organisms when I was a biology major 15 years ago. The process of coloring was part of the note taking and helped memory. I also bought one for my college age child recently. She is dyslexic and coloring helps her visualize, again, increased memory.

Good supplementary, review, or reference text for basic biology
I use this book as an optional/supplementary text in college, non-major biology classes. Some of the information and ideas are outdated, but the book has value on at least 3 different levels:(1)It presents the information in a different format than the main text, requiring a student to learn the differences(2)The actual coloring makes the students think about the materials longer than just "skimming" through it.(3)The diagrams of the cells, organelles, and human tissue systems allow the students to learn individual parts of these systems and/or the system as a whole. My students who buy this book tell me that it helps them study for tests. I use it as a quick reference guide if I want a brief overview of some process or body part. I recommend it for anyone who wants a visual summary of many of the aspects that are talked about when studying general or basic biological subjects
