Works as advertised.
Works as advertised. Able to clone Prodata t5xx key fob. Difficult to set up in Linux, but got it on third try. Have to ensure firmware and client are the same revision.

So easy to use and configure a baby could do it.
It took all but 10 minutes or less from unboxing to get this flashed with the latest Iceman firmware and scanning cards. But again, I know my way about computers particularly Linux. I also knew what to expect as I actually READ the documentation before arrival: delivery was less than 24 hours from ordering thanks to Amazon. This is the way to go if you want to gain knowledge and learn all about RFID, and not for those "what do I click to do X" kind of people who only want results and not knowledge and education... If you want that, just get a flipper or even better save your money and get a $15 china device that will do what you want. The proxmark3 easy's interface is so easy and intuitive, with more than generous help commands built in every command. The proxmark3 even has commands like "auto" which does all the work of figuring out what card it is, and then suggests the next commands to carry onto the next phase of your research: it couldn't be any easier or better. I heard before Iceman came on board and contributed (like pre-2013) the proxmark3 software WAS terrible and very hard to use, but now because of Iceman even a baby could do it.

Works, but ...
There are two things you should know right out of the gate: 1. This is a generic Alibaba proxmark3 2. This is not the rdv4 as listed in the title. It took several days of tinkering, but I was able to get it flashed with the Iceman bootloader and have it read a card. It comes with the device, cards, a cable and that's it. If you aren't a tinkerer, skip this one.

Technical but well worth it, had fun, saved money
This does what it says and it very flexible. the only issue I can think of is that it is not for a non-technical person's use. you need to be comfortable with the terminal / command line or following detailed technical instructions and looking up different types of cards. The placement of the cards wasn't always clear to me but that's because I was unclear on what kind of fob I was duplicating. Once I understood the basics of different fob types and the one I needed duplicated, it went so fast I was actually disappointed I did not have need for more. This ended up being cheaper (and far more practical) than some services that duplicate keys for you. I was very pleased and if you're an engineer / technical nerd type, this is just fun stuff. The open source software behind this seems very well supported, too.

Works with latest Iceman firmware, includes magic tags
Worked with latest Iceman firmware. Follow the instructions on the Github, choose generic Proxmark3 generic (PM3GENERIC) as the build target. Everything else can stay default. Included are two 5577 multi-purpose 125MHz tags, can be used to clone HID Prox ID tags, etc. The other included tags/cards are all MIFARE Classic 1K cards, but it's worth noting that only two (labeled UID) are Magic tags, Gen 1a. These have rewritable block 0 / UID and are necessary for successfully cloning common door keys, etc. The other high frequency cards are all MIFARE Classic 1K but are not Magic, you can't change the UID. They are useful for personal projects, but likely not for cloning. No issues with the hardware, and lots of useful tags are included.

Great so far...
I was able to load Iceman, but will start testing for cards. Will update to 5 star if I can clone a card. I thought it was straight forward and had no difficulty besides changing my COM port. I assume if you aren't well versed in Linux or msys2 you will be lost for a bit. I highly reccomend checking out forums (dangerous things) that have the easiest path to complete. I know this probably wasn't genuine coming in, but that hardly matters. I picked this up for the return policy because I usually break things anyway.

Muy buena herramienta RFID-NFC, lo compré caro sólo porque tenía buena reseña, venía con tarjetas de todos los modelos y llaveros RFID para probar. Lo recomiendo, aunque si encuentran una buena oferta tómenla.

The description says it's the Proxmark3 RDv4 but it's not. As long as you're ok with the Proxmark3 Easy then this is perfect. 512k lets you flash the latest Iceman firmware. Had no issues flashing a prebuilt firmware or building the firmware from Github and flashing it. Unlike other Proxmark3 Easy devices out there, this only has one USB micro connector. If you need to use Standalone mode, you can plug a power bank into the connector and it works just fine.
