Passed test in northern Sweden in February
Somewhat different viewpoint from someone in the southern U.S. with limited need for an insulated winter boot. Doesn't make sense for me to pay top dollar for the high-end boots, so found these with solid reviews and a favorable price. Needed them for a trip to extreme northern Sweden in February to see the Northern Lights (temps from 9-28F). Got ones half a size larger which was a perfect fit with heavy socks. Boot quality was good with no issues around the seams, eyelets or laces (as mentioned in some other reviews). Feet stayed warm for hours outside at night standing on a frozen lake and on packed snow and on a mountain top (approx. 3,800 ft.). Took two hikes (4 and 6 miles) on back-to-back days and the boots were comfortable overall, despite these being the first real wear. Some rubbing higher on the ankle, partially because I haven't worn boots in awhile. Hikes were over a mix of hard-packed and banked snow and had no issue with slipping or with moisture getting through the boot. I was a little nervous about how these would perform (the whole "you get what you pay for" concept), but these performed really well for my purposes.

Great boot at an amazing price
Great boot for the price. The fit is accurate to your normal shoe size. They are very comfortable with the stock insoles and didn't feel I needed to add comfort insoles. (I have flat feet and plantar fascitis). I have worn these boots all day in and out of stores, across the snow and ice, riding on buses, trollies, teams, walking through parks, going to restaurants in the same day and no issues with discomfort regarding the comfort aspect. They came with a second set of laces and I thought that was an indication of what to expect but after three months of heavy (everyday in the snow) use, they are still holding up. The quality of the boots is exceptional, especially for the price. I am rough on footwear and didn't expect much but am very surprised with this purchase. I bought this boot in the US to travel to Kahzakstan during the winter months. They have demonstrated durability and quality construction. They are waterproof from what I can tell and yes, I went tromping through the snow and slosh and my feet came out dry.The bad.The tops are bulky due to the insulation. This is expected but overlooked on how your pants will fit over them ...don't expect to wear you skinny jeans. The top of the toe box is rubber, it is insulated on the inside but also transfers cold. I actually ended up getting a pair of insulated insoles to put in the bottom to help insulate from the cold from the bottom. My toes did get very cold (painful cold) after a full day of snow sledding with the kiddo. The insulated insoles with three pair of socks seemed to keep it at bay. They are a bit heavy. (As expected). I wore them on the plane from Florida to Kahzakstan so I didn't get dinged on airport weight. Yes, they were hot but better than paying overweight fees.I would/will definitely purchase these boots again. I did decide to leave them for my inlaws to give to someone in need so I didn't have to bring them back strictly due to the weight.

Better than expected.
I was on the fence about these boots, but I am very glad I ended purchasing them. My feet get cold very easily, but these boots have kept my feet warm whether I am walking the dogs in the snow, clearing snow, or just casual every day cold weather wear. They effectively keep my feet dry, warm, and comfortable.I recommend them and would purchase them again. Oh, and fit was true to the shoe size I wear (Men’s USA 14).

Great traction on ice and snow but not warm below 0F
I purchased these boots to replace a well worn but still useable pair of Canadian-made Sorrels that I've had for 35 years and used on cold days down to -35F in northern Minnesota and the mountains of Montana. Last week low temps at the MN cabin ranged from +5 to -20F when I walked my dog on trails covered with snow and ice. The pluses are the boots are well made and have excellent traction on ice and snow. And unlike the Sorrels, they are made in half-sizes so my 9.5 feet fit snug resulting in very stable support. The drawback is unlike the Sorrels, the Nortiv boots kept my feet warm in the 0F range but not at -15 to -20F. If I were to purchase another pair I would buy 10s so a pair heavy wool socks could be used to improve the heat retention. So it's back using the Sorrels when temps drop below 0F and the new boots in temps at and above zero.

Good boot.
My regular size is 10.5 W and ordered 11 W to accommodate the lining. I tried the boots on but I haven't worked in these boots yet. They seem well constructed. Wearing regular woolen socks, not extra heavy ones they go on tight at the neck requiring much loosening of the laces. This is not an issue. because this is how I will wear them outside. Once on they fit well and are comfortable standing and walking around the rooms. Removing them is a bit of a chore getting past that tight neck. Perhaps they'll loosen up in time. It might be a different result for someone wearing heavy duty socks. For me they are worth the money, I'll keep them and yes, I would order them again..

Very good boot
Warm, great traction

Excellent value and boot
They are very comfortable and nowhere as heavy as other winter boots I have had. The sole has great traction. On wet smooth surface concrete at least. We haven’t had much snow here. Just cold weather. The collar is very soft and doesn’t rub with the wool lining. This is the first pair of boots I have had in the last 7 years that didn’t need aftermarket insoles, and I don’t buy cheap boots. These boots are true to size, but remember go a size bigger than you would normally wear. If you wear a 12 get a 13. You will want that room for think socks, and/or multiple pairs. Also the laces cinch down really well to keep them from slipping, but I leave them loose from the 2nd row of eyelets down unless I am doing a lot of walking. Leaving them that way allows more warm air to be around your foot which keeps you warmer. The tighter the laces the closer your foot is to the outside and that is where the cold air is.I hope they last as long as I think they will, but if not I will absolutely be buying them again. I have actually put more in my cart for Christmas gifts this year. If you want a great boot at a great price I definitely recommend these. I would choose them over my Chippewa boots 10/10 times and they were 25% of the price.

Definitely worth the money.
Just got these and haven't really had any need as of yet to wear them. Did try them on for fit and they seem to be very cozy and warm. I ordered a half size bigger to allow for thicker socks and I would strongly suggest that you do that too because with thicker socks they are snug. But overall, I like them very much. Update, after having these boots for a while and using them for a few Chicago snowfalls, I can say they're everything they say they are. Warm and waterproof. Great boot.

Study, warm, great weather proofing, comfortable fit.
Fantastic weather and snow resistance, used these in Finland in December for 2 days no ingress of snow or water, comfortable to walk in, deep tread for good traction, warm and sized so a snug but good fit even with thick socks. I wear UK 9 1/2 trainers bought UK size10 snow boots. A good weight and great boot quality and looks. Noticed were the same style boot the Lapland tour operator provided to those who didn’t have their own!

Warm, waterproof boots for winter wear!
I purchased the NORTIV 8 Men’s Waterproof Winter Snow Boots for cold and snowy conditions, and they’ve performed very well. The boots are fully waterproof, keeping my feet dry even in slushy snow and light rain. They are insulated and warm, making them comfortable for extended outdoor wear in cold weather. The sole provides good traction, which makes walking on snow and ice more secure. Fit was true to size, and the laces allow for a snug, adjustable fit.The only minor note is that the boots are a bit bulky, but that’s typical for insulated winter boots. Overall, these are well-made, reliable winter boots that balance warmth, comfort, and style at a reasonable price.
