Makes a great gift

This a fun book that will be helpful on getting started designing clothing. It has chapter by chapter information about various aspects of designing from knowing your customer, to portfolio presentations. There are colorful illustrations and photos on almost every page and a small "self critique" box at the end of each unit. I am enjoying the book as a "get started " text.

Fantastic course book! Purchased this for my 13-year old daughter, who is a burgeoning artist with an interest in clothing styles! She loved the book, and showed her Dad, who is also an artist. He, I am sure, will help coach her and it will give them a common interest to share. Thank you for this amazing book!
