Hair is lovely & bright
One of my favourite go to products when I need to dye my hair. I’ve been henna for years and I feel like this results in the most pigmented colour. It’s so easy to make it as well, much better than buying it in block form

Great Product
Easy to mix and soft consistency to apply. The colour is very vibrant, copper on my grey hair, more of a mahogany on my brown hair. I left it on for 3 hours.

quite pleased with the natural copper/orange tone and dazzling shine
quite pleased with the natural copper/orange tone and dazzling shine. hair feels thicker and healthier. the product is 100% natural and really benefits hair. the smell is better than i have expected and is more than tolerable. yes, it is a bit messy and harder to apply comparing to chemical diyes but totally worth it. a couple of things i'd like to know before appying but couldn't find in the net: 1. don't worry if the henna looks green in a container and greenish brown on your hair. once wased out you will get a nice bronze colour 2. the brighter (more orange) you want your hair the longer you need to keep henna on. i was holding it for almost 2 hrs and got pretty orange colour which i was really looking forward to. 3. if your hair has been diyed before - do not worry, nothing bad will happen. some articles say it turns green etc. well mine did not. the only trouble is - you will get a different color at your roots which is particularly visible if your roots are darker. some general tips: 1. do not use metal container for mixing henna with water. only use glass or ceramic ones. metal can create chemical reaction which may alter pigment and result can be unexpected. 2. always use gloves even if these are not provided in the set. 3. add a cople drops of essential oils (i added argan oil) - makes it easier to apply & smells better 4. when the henna is rinsed off use a bit of conditioner to untanle hair and take hidden crumbles of henna off.

Allergy reaction - burning ears
Delivery and item were fine, but I had an allergic reaction to this. I used Henne years ago with no problems, but this caused my ears to burn painfully. I had to sleep with cold compresses on my head and take piriton. Today I've got cream from the chemist, and more piriton. Last night was very painful and scary. Today it's eased, but still hurts. One of my ears is slightly swollen and bright red. both ears are sore and irritated. I'm still freaked out that this stuff is in my hair and scalp. Having done some research, allergy to Henne is due to the chemical additive PPD. This is added when the colour intends to be darker. This is the first time i've gone for a darker colour (I've only ever done reds previously) - so I believe there is PPD in this product, even though the packaging claims it's PPD free. I'm not sure how regulated this is, and how trusted it can be. Next time (if I dare try this again) - I will buy from Lush, who are totally chemical free and understand the allergy issues. For me - this stuff is not safe. Today is a right off - I can't work due to the pain and discomfort, and dozed out on Piriton. I'm still in the '24 hour after contact' zone so have been medically advised to keep an eye on it in case it gets worse - so having a stressful day. Not good. I'll never buy Henne online again.

I like this haircolor
This was a good henna, although it washes out after about 2 weeks, or at least the grey is visible on top of my head then. Still I like the color that is not so red as I feared, and now I have bought a haircolor spray to use on top of my head for a few weeks before I have to use the henna again. I would like to use this product again, because it does not harm my hair and body, so I am sorry to hear that this product no longer can be shipped to Norway, I will have to find another buyer. No problem, got it from eBay.

Brilliant result, but it can be permanent.
When I first started using this dye, I loved it. It was easy to use, if maybe a little bit messy but I'd never dyed my hair before so the process seemed fine. It can end up a bit patchy if you don't work it in evenly, but it wasn't too obvious. The results were excellent first time, I had bright, shiny copper hair that received many compliments, as it works as a hair conditioner too. My hair is very long, and one pack was more than enough. After the initial application, I re-dyed the roots every month or so, as necessary - this is easier than reapplying to all of your hair each time, just make up a little of the paste. It was a wonderful product, chemical-free colour and healthy hair. My only complaint was that the last time I dyed it was over 18 months ago, and the colour is still strong. I probably dyed it half a dozen times then waited for it to wash out. It is advertised as a semi-permanent wash-out dye, but the colour has barely even faded from mine, it's just has to grow out! My natural hair colour is blonde, so perhaps it absorbs the colour much more than darker hair. Colour removers and bleaches don't work on henna, and advice from hairdressers was just to grow it out, use of chemicals might change the colour to green or something horrible! Yes it works, and yes it is a lovely, long lasting colour, especially after several applications, but if you are blonde I'd almost advise going for a chemical dye, which can at least be stripped out when you want your own colour back!
