The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240 Illusion is a performer; it diligently keeps my CPU temperatures hovering around 50°C. That said, installation wasn't the smoothest journey. When trying to fix it to the top of my PC case, the screws barely fit, leading me to strip one in the process. The mounting on an AM4 socket was notably challenging, particularly when attempting to secure the clamps to the motherboard in such tight quarters. Once installed, the cooler shines – both in performance and aesthetics. The vibrant colors are a visual treat. A suggestion for a future iteration would be to integrate a digital temperature readout on the pump, similar to what NZXT offers. For the price, that would be a fantastic value-add. In summary, it's a solid cooler with room for installation improvements.

've been using the Cooler Master MasterLiquid PL240 Flux for a few days now, and I'm really impressed with it. It's a great AIO liquid cooler that offers great performance, quiet operation, and a sleek design. The cooling performance of the PL240 Flux is excellent. I was able to overclock my CPU to 5.0 GHz without any problems, and the cooler kept it running cool and stable. The fans are also very quiet. Even at full speed. The ARGB lighting is also very nice. Overall, I'm very happy with the Cooler Master MasterLiquid PL240 Flux. It's a great AIO liquid cooler that I would definitely recommend to others.

I'd say this is a super recommendation for me. My temps stay super love even while running ultra level games. The brightness is really nice as you can see, you can do so much visually with this piece of kit. It straps on super easy with supplied mounts. The guilty is top notch. I get good speeds without any issues.

I got this cooler for an absolute bargain price, so no complaints on that front. As I was fitting this to an already built PC I found it was slightly fiddly to get the radiator and all the cables routed. I can only imagine it would be easier doing it from scratch. The radiator I received had some squashed fins, but nothing that will seriously hamper performance or make me want to return the product. Overall the pump and radiator are of a good quality and everything looks nice once installed. I would recommend watching an online video to help with install as the fitting instructions provided are not great, and if you are inexperienced with such things you could have problems. As a cooling solution, the cooler works really well so far. I had a Cooler Master 212 rgb and swapped it out for this, and I've noticed a drop in temps of about 5c on my overclocked Ryzen 5 3600 (unscientifically recorded!) The fans for this cooler are not the quietest, and I can definitely hear them where I couldn't hear the 212 air cooler I had fitted before. This doesn't bother me if I'm honest. When my PC is idle I can't really hear the fans and when I'm playing a game I'm usually concentrating on the game so don't notice any increase in volume from the fans. I would recommend this product overall, but there is a lot of cable management, and the fans supplied are only 'ok'. Edit: having had the cooler installed for a few months now, I can honestly say that the performance of the AIO is very good, but the fans are of a poor quality. They started off with an acceptable level of noise, but have now developed an intermittent rattle that must be based on fan speed. I will be replacing both RGB fans with Noctua ones at the first opportunity and relegating one of the RGB fans to a case exhaust.

This is a great AIO pump and rad. It is doing a great job of keeping an i9 14900K in check. No thermal throttling so far.

I must be unlucky with coolers, first off I bought the Assassin III and the base threads did not work so could not tighten down, then I bought this mirror cooler and the radiator was damaged (it looked like a return as it was open) so I had the same replacement and this is my short review; First off I am not really worried about the lights but the 280 rad was what I wanted and Corsair is more money and I do not really trust them for quality, so that only leaves a couple really and as I take days and days to make a choice I had to make the jump for my newly built pc, so I picked this one. Easy to fit really, I was worried about the rad fitting in the top even though the case said it did, (Case Thermaltake v51) it is about 25% bigger than a 240 rad and it fits fine. The CPU mount is quite quick to fit and the water block just sits on top (hold it down with a finger while you put on the nuts and its done) I did have my wife hold the rad while I fitted the water block as I had the case on its side, then just stand up the case and screw in the rad with the fans already attached (plug everything in first before fixing the rad) and that is it, all done and turn on the pc and look at the temps. For some reason the pump only runs at full speed even though the Bios setting is on to stepped, I also setup the fan curve so it keeps the temps under 60c while pushing hard in a game and that is about 60% fan but I cannot hear a thing, if it is really quiet when I start up I can just hear the pump if I try hard, at idle it hovers around 28-35 (the temp jumps between the two) but lowest recorded is 28c with a 21c room temp and max 60c also at room 21c. If I bend down to look it also looks pretty, I would have liked the arctic freezer 280 but was out of stock everywhere but cooler-master has a good name and as this was my first liquid cooler I wanted a good one without loads of cables, the fans plug into the cpu header same as the pump and the led goes into another argb header and that is it, quick and easy. If anything changes I will update.
