Amazing picture quality
The picture quality and light sensitivity are amazing! I bought this GoPro specifically for its size. I mount it on an HO scale model train, and it fit's through the tunnels! I gave the stabilization a lower mark, but in truth, I'm sure it's fine for fast motion, but on a slow moving model train, you can see glitches as it tries to correct. Again, that is not what this camera was designed for. I was given a Hero 7 last year, and the picture quality of the 11 is leaps and bounds better in quality.

Unreliable; batteries will not last, cannot be replaced
Image quality is fantastic, as is the customization in the software. But it's absolutely useless. Bought it just after Christmas in Jan 2024 and I was able to use it for two short spring ski trips - nice warm weather, brand new battery. Got a lot of great footage. But that was two years ago, and since then, I literally only have about 10 minutes of usable footage. For our following year Christmas ski trip, it would not turn on. Or rather, I would charge it to 100% (after HOURS of charging) and it would turn on, start shooting, I'd start my run confident that i was getting it captured, and get home to find a bunch of 11 second clips. Thankfully, it was still (barely) under warranty, so after 3 days of painful back and forth, and a multi hour chat session with a tedious representative who insisted I try every single pointless exercise that I had already tried, they approved my return which I received six weeks later. Obviously, missed my big ski vacations last year, but did get another couple of short trips with some footage in Feb/March. Now again, a year later, I tested it out at home after fully charging it, and it seemed to work fine in a warm indoor environment. But the first day on the mountain, on a full charge, I can record about a 2 minute clip of one run. By the time I get back to the lift, it's long since shut itself off, so there are a half dozen clips of me turning it ON in the lift line, and it then shutting itself off after 11 seconds again. This would be annoying if it were simply a matter of buying a fresh battery each season, but when the battery CANNOT be replaced, as with these, and it just utterly debilitates the whole camera, it's just robbery. This is an atrocious piece of garbage. It can't handle cold, its batteries are so utterly frail that where others can be measured in hundreds or thousands of cycles, GoPro Batteries have a lifespan that can literally be measured in minutes. Do not buy it if you have any hope of it being useful beyond a month or two.

NOT waterproof!
I love everything about this camera, which I use for surfing EXCEPT I've gone through 3 cameras where the charging access door opens in the water, ruining the camera. I consider it a weak design in the access door. This is not a problem with my DJI Action 4 camera. If you use the GoPro camera for watersports, get a waterproof case for it so you don't ruin your camera!

Simplistic Nature Great if You’re Short on Time
I’ve enjoyed this product better than the Hero 11 Black for many reasons. As someone who is relentlessly busy, I have greatly enjoyed the simplicity that this camera offers. Although I thought I would miss having the photo option, you can still capture a lot of photos from the video modes, which are all mostly the same as the ones on the GoPro Hero 11. Other features I like include the light weight nature of the camera and its miniature size. It feels pretty weightless on my helmet and hides easily in my bag. For some reason I have yet to figure out, the mini handles auto upload immediately and I rarely if ever have had to reset it due to battery issues. Because I have so little time, I have found this camera the one I prefer because its more simplistic nature means it’s easier to turn it on and start filming. While I do appreciate the Hero 11 Black, this little one has required a lot less fussing and is easier to take on the go. I like that I can just strap it on my head and forget about it. If GoPro came out with another Mini (and I would definitely be an interested consumer if that happens), I would want one additional feature, which I think would be nice for all the GoPros: A find similar to what is on IPhones. Although I don’t lose these cameras, I think it would be the one feature that would help for those times when life gets a little hectic.

Basic - Simple - Small - Crystal Clear Video
Small as cameras get - with back and bottom fold away metal mounts. Push button to record - small read out shows in plain English its 'recording' and a red light flashes. Recorded Video Picture is Crisp and Clear. Can Copy/Paste the video files from the Smart Card and play them on Computer -- or - They have free downloadable PC and iphone software for playing/editing video that can do post processing image stabilizing and other features. Best of all -there are dozens of cheap 3rd party accessories available for this camera, and you can mount in in any way you like.

Pretty good small cam
I do prefer the hero 11. The rear screen is more helpful but... yu can get the job done with the phone app. and of course the mini is less expensive and smaller.

Hero11 black mini - charging issues everywhere
So I feel like I do pretty good research on things, problems and cons and everything. Bought this a week ago, charged it with the included cable and a quality 5v/2.5a charger for the recommended 2-3 hours before first use. Fire it up and find out I have to download an app to use it. Fine, got the app. Pretty simple and straightforward app - it proceeded to update the camera right away and so far so good. After the update I finally got a look at the settings and noticed the battery level was around 63%. Chalked it up to the update and didn’t really think much of it. Set it up to my liking and started using it. Battery got to about 40% after an hour of use. I plugged it in, sat down and waited for the cloud upload to finish. Messed around with the app a bit editing the videos and was pleased with the equality of the video and the app. Returned several hours later to check on the camera and it was warm, not hot but I found it odd the thing was warm at all. I then noticed the battery had not charged at all. It was still at 40%. I plugged it into a usb charging block that displays power output and it would ONLY charge with the camera on and then it only charges at .5a. Googled and found dozens of threads going back to release last year complaining about the same issue. I tried all of the different tips and tricks that were suggested, none of them made a difference. Manual firmware update, holding the buttons for 20+ seconds in every combination, removing the SD card (noticed different behavior on this one but no charging improvement), factory reset, etc. I would give this thing 0 stars if I could, dysfunctional out of the box without being used at all.

My go-to for FPV
This camera is my all-time favorite. Flying freestyle FPV, I don't want/need all the extra screens only to smash them flying. I have yet to break one and the video quality is phenomenal- I usually record at 5k/30fps with no image stabilization. After about a year of almost daily use, the battery died on my first hero11 mini, which was covered under the BestBuy warranty, so I got a brand new replcement. I hope GoPro decides to bring this form factor back again!

I love this little GoPro! Best GoPro since the Hero5 Session
This is the best smallest camera by GoPro since the Hero 5 session. 5.3k resolution gives you extremely sharp high quality footage. The image stabilization works really well to reduce shakes, and the small form factor makes it easy to mount different places!

Poor design and has 100 problems.
Cons: very bad product for helmet cam & travel. 1. Battery is not replaceable. 2. Battery takes 1 hour 5 minutes to charge. No quick charging available. 3. This camera won't charge from car/motorcycle charger or powerbank. Battery icon will appear but battery percentage won't increase. It only charges on wall charger. 4. You cannot switch shooting mode/profile/presets like gopros with screen. You have do all setting on the field. 5. Not external mic support. Camera is small but with external mic adapter, it is clumbsy and unusable.

Buggy gopro 11 mini
Overall, the camera served its purpose. Full featured just like the gopro 11. However, the camera is a bit buggy, videos would turn out inverted and cant be rotated in Quik app. Otherwise, with the current sale, price is worth it!

Amazing Device
Been using this for more than a year now for skydiving. Had to reorder as I lost one. Unfortunately this one which I ordered from Asno Tech was probably defective. I had to get it replaced from GoPro. Otherwise simplicity of the device makes it addictive for regular usage. Amazing stabilisation and in video stills.
