Works but...
Works absolutely fine and identical design as OEM bulb on the Samsung microwave but for some reason this bulb does not seem as bright, both original and this bulb are 20w.

Works in a Panasonic microwave
I was a bit worried this wouldn't work in my Panasonic microwave but it looked very similar so I took a risk - glad I did as it is a good fit. The metal connectors are at a right angle on this one (they were straight on the one this replaced) but connected fine to the connectors in my Panasonic microwave. It is a little bit of faff to take the cover off and replace the light bulb but only takes about 5 minutes. Happy to now have a light in the microwave again!

Working OK So Far
Very good value if it lasts a few years - that remains to be seen. I have given the bulb five stars for "easy to install". Strictly speaking, that's not true. It is quite a faff to install. But that's not the fault of the bulb, it's the fault of Panasonic who manufactured the microwave, so it would be unfair to mark the bulb down.It is slightly smaller and dimmer than the old bulb but it seems adequate for the job.

Saved a service engineer a trip out for a 5 minute job.
Ok so the bulb went on my Tower microwave which supposedly had a two year parts and labour guarantee. Contacted them but they insisted on proof of purchase and proof id registered my purchase within 28 days. Its apparently a non serviceable they told me and to have it replaced under warranty required a service engineer to come and fit it. Now I could have waited but rather than I bought this as one of the cheapest on sale with Prime delivery, arrived next day cover off one screw old bulb out new one fit hey presto. Great value for money and works fine. Now about that non serviceable part ....

Does the job, good fit.
Happy to get my microwave fixed with this bulb. I needed special security bits to gain access, but once that was done it was a fairly simple job. Bulb has worked well since and seems good quality.

ok but not as bright
When you install this bulb ensure you unplug your appliance, do not touch the transformer unit as it will still have storage as will the capacitors, bulb fits many makes as Microwaves are 90% the same with different branding applied, bulb states 20w but in reality its around 10w so not as bright as you may think, not many have screw in bulbs today but LED will take over microwave bulbs in the next 3 years so they will be no need to do this changeover
