My Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 wouldn't remember the time of day. The light on the front edge blinked white and orange in the pattern which indicated bad CMOS battery. The wires on this replacement battery are longer than on the original, but there was enough room inside the case to route the excess length. Now my Latitude remembers the date and the light on the front edge doesn't blink.

Battery works good, but this one wasn't the issue with my laptop. It's also a pain to put in.

This is my 2nd purchase of Rome Tech CMOS batteries for my laptop. Rome Tech has just about every battery type you'll need. The biggest and most important part is making sure you get the right battery first. Rome Tech asks you for your laptop make and model and they will match you with the correct battery. If you're pretty good at working with small screws and taking apart laptop cases, then you'll save a lot of money by doing this yourself.

Got this to replace the cmos battery in my Dell 7280 laptop. It seemed silly to me to not just use a normal coin cell battery, but this was far easier than trying to remove the wiring from the OG battery and trying to solder everything back together. Installation was just as easy as the removal.

After a little online research, it looked like this one would be compatible with my "antique" laptop. The wiring ended up being slightly longer than I needed, but I was able to loop the wiring and tuck it into the routing channel. So far it seems to be working fine! I am glad that I don't have to keep "forgetting to reset" the date and time every time I fire up my old-reliable refurbished retrogaming laptop.

I have tried multiple CMOS batteries from multiple makers that claim are compatible with the AW17 r5 however none are anywhere near long enough for the proper placement on the motherboard. This one worked perfectly. To the manufacturer. Add compatibility to this list for the Dell Alienware 17 r5 laptops to this and drop it from your other listing it's a waste of time. Other than that works as it should. Thank you.

Ce que j'ai reçu est une pile quelconque dans un sachet plastique sans même du scotch double face.

Pues pense que estas pilas de la bios son todas iguales asi que pedi la mas barata y cuando llego no era ni el mismo tamaño ni el mismo voltaje ni el mismo puerto. Asi que corte y empalme la pila nueva con el puerto antiguo, encendi el ordenador y funciono!. Llevo varios meses y el ordenador no se ha estropeado ni nada. Esto lo digo a modo informativo, la responsabilidad de hacer tales experimentos es vuestra, no me hago responsable de lo que pueda pasar. Aislar bien los cables empalmados para evitar cortos, probarlo primero en algun ordenador viejo o incluso abortar la operacion si no se tiene claro lo que se hace es bastante recomendable. Si teneis miedo de dañar vuestro ordenador lo prudente es pedir la pila especifica.

Generic battery that you can get 10 pieces for almost the same price. No markings or anything apart from CE sticker. It works, but I’m not sure how long it will last though. Don’t bother ordering this. Better get a 10-pack. At least you will have some spares when it dies.

Funciona perfectamente en mi Dell Latitude D630.

La pila funciona perfectamente, pero tuve dificultades para instalarla, la clavija blanca no estaba bien , parecía algo más grande de lo que debería, tuve que rascarla un poquito con un bisturí que uso para hacer maquetas para poder encajarla. La puese en un Lenovo Thinkpad L390
