Great smell
Great option as a light summer cologne. I have wear a mix of expensive and cheaper colognes including Acqua Di Parma, Paraso, Eeau Sauvage and now 4711. In men's cologne form its got a great light fresh, citrus smell ideal for summer.

Refreshing and pleasant after-shave….
A pleasant and refreshing low-cost cologne after-shave.

It's a pleasant enough fragrance, more synthetic now than it used to be sadly.
I used to love the smell of the 4711 original eau de cologne, but, it really should just be called scented water, because, as soon as it dries the scent is gone, but, it used to be lovely while it lasted; the aftershave has no better longevity, obviously, so, if all a man requires is an astringent to apply after wet shaving, I'd recommend either all natural Witch Hazel or an aftershave lotion that contains nothing but alcohol and natural menthol crystals, and the choice of either will, frankly, depend on your age and overall Bravery and Pluck. 😁

Took an age to arrive
Took nearly 2 months to arrive and when it did I was disappointed. I have this aftershave already from Boots and the smell nothing like each other. I know they do different fragrances on this label but this was meant to be the same as I already have and it wasn't in fact I think it's just water 😩

A mild and pleasant after shave lotion
I use this product as an aftershave lotion to tone the skin following a DE shave; it works wonderfully.As long as I haven't messed my shave up too much it provides a pleasant tingling sensation reducing razorburn which I then follow up with an aftershave balm for moisturisation.This is a mild aftershave which has a delightful citrus aroma which is very short lived.These are both plus points.Please note this product is marketed as an aftershave lotion rather than a cologne and so the alcohol content is lower which means the scent doesn't last.If you want the aroma to last then follow up with the eau de cologne (although longevity there is questionable). If you purchase to use to tone the skin following your shave you will get a mild and effective aftershave with a wonderful scent which isn't going to mess with your cologne or EDT.

Soothing scent. However, I think the real strength with the 4711 is the post-shave feel.
