100% worth every penny!
This is a fantastic high quality round over bit from a trusted name in the business. I needed a round over bit to make quick work of knocking off the edges on a bathroom vanity I'm building and didn't want to hand sand all the edges. I vacillated between this 1/8" bit or the 1/16" bit and I'm glad I went with this one. I can't imagine that a sixteenth of an inch would be any less sharp that the regular cut corner. The 1/8" round over is almost imperceptible itself until you "see" it or feel it. What I mean by "see it" is I showed a sample piece I tried to my wife (one of the boards in the photos) and she was like "what am I looking at?" and I had her feel the corner and it was then she was "Ohhhhh, that's nice and soft". Basically this bit did exactly what I wanted and needed it to do. I was able to round off all sharp edges in just a few minutes with a quick pass of a finishing router and done. Worked out great. If I need any more router bits I will definitely be shopping Freud for their reputation and quality products.

Another excellent Freud router bit
This bit replaces an identical one that is more than 20 years old. The old bit was still cutting quite well but some work piece edges were requiring more sanding. I more than got my money’s worth out of that old bit. The new one cuts cleanly and I probably won’t wait so long to replace it in light of the very reasonable price.

This is a quality made product!
I have been a woodworking hobbyist for many years. Over the years, I have restored and fabricated many pieces of antique and modern furniture. These days, my wife often asks me to fix one of her friends broken/damaged pieces and a recent repair required me to use a tool I do not own. The Italian made Freud brand 1/8" round-over professional router bit I purchased is one I wanted years ago but could not afford when I was younger. Back in the day, quality carbon-tipped router bits were expensive. Now, years later and retired, I can afford any tool I choose and was pleasantly surprised at the now affordable cost of and the now common availability of carbon-tipped router bits today. This Freud Professional Router Bit is crafted wonderfully well and performs exceptionally well as compared to the many other router bits I have used over the years! A new brand for me ... the Freud brand will be one I will seek out in all of my future tool needs! If you want dependable, well performing router bits, made professionally, look no further! Respectfully and Sincerely, KCL

Works great on HDPE Plastic!
Have used Freud bits before. They tend to cost a bit more than others you can find around Amazon. But from my experience, you're paying for sharpness and how long it takes to dull out. I needed to put 1/8" Radius cuts on the edges of a slab of HDPE. Didn't even feel the tool cut the material, and the finish left behind was near polished. Very happy & satisfied with how the cutter handled, still looks like the bit was never even used. Can always recommend paying up for Freud bits on finish projects!

Good Bit
This is a good quality, smooth cutting router bit. Shipping was fast. I had to deduct a star because the price is too high for this bit.

Freud continues to make a quality product
1/8" roundover really is quite a small amount of roundover, but I built my project out of oak, and wanted more consistency than simply sanding down all the corners and edges. This was perfect. No issues with the oak at all.
