What good is a portable vacuum cleaner if you can't charge it? Fortunately this does the job very nicely so the wife is well pleased!

So my Dyson DC44 wouldn't recharge and I didn't know whether it was the battery or the charger or something else. The official Dyson replacement charger and battery are quite expensive, especially when you don't know if they will fix the problem.Came upon this product and thought it was the best and cheapest way to find out if it was the charger...the good news, it worked! Charged the battery and the DC44 was working fine again.The charger itself is pretty close to the original without the name of course. The quality of the charger seems very good. The green light shows when the battery is charging.Definitely recommend, got the expensive DC44 working again for a fairly low price.

Great product delivered on thin good price

Charged my dyson vac when it had completely run out. Decided to try new charger before throwing away vac. Glad I did.

My dyson handheld stopped working over a year ago and I recently thought I would see if I could get it working again. After looking on a few websites I thought the problem was a broken charger. When I pressed the trigger the green light would come on, a few websites said it meant the dyson was working but was just out of battery.There are lots of different replacement chargers to choose from but after reading good reviews about the vac spare one I thought I would give it a try. I wasn’t sure if it would work with the model of dyson I have, the DC43H, but after sending an e mail I received a speedy reply confirming that it would.The charger is great, I plugged it in and the green light came on to show it was charging. I thought I would try the vacuum after about 15 mins but nothing, it didn’t turn on. I plugged it back in and left it for about an hour and it turned on straight away. It must have needed extra time after being left uncharged for so long.The green light turns off when it is fully charged and is just as good as the original dyson charger but for a fraction of the price.If your dyson has stopped working because of the charger this is a perfect replacement without paying a premium to get one with dyson printed on it.

Well made and quality product.

I was disappointed as I thought I was purchasing an original Dyson part. The advert did not say it was not an 'original' or say it was a 'replacement' so by default I took 'premium' as being an original.What was supplied is not a true Dyson product.It works but would certainly prefer an original as there are so many stories of faulty/dangerous 'grey' products.

Good value for money for replacement charger for Dyson DC44. Even though original indicates power on adapter plug, no light was the giveaway that something was faulty.Dyson was still working fine, so believing battery ok, it was worth replacing the charger, than replacing the whole vacuum.So far, works great; much better than having to spend much more on a new entire vacuum.
