Does the job I needed it to do, and it good value for money.
Purchased this for my PC as it doesn't have built in wi-fi and I was no longer going to be able to connect thru an ethernet connection as I was moving it to another room away from the router. I've just received the product and it was very easy to use and the driver to use the product was quickly installed on my pc. My router is downstairs at the front of the house, and I have moved my PC upstairs towards the back of the property, and the range is excellent so far. Whilst I've only used the product for about 45minutes, I have had a consistent full strength signal and doing an internet speed test, it doesn't show that I am loosing any speed despite being further away from the router. There were cheaper options available, but as I intend on using the product using the USB connection cable and having the receiver hanging directly out of a USB slot on my PC, this was definitely well worth the money.

Honestly best upgrade I've done so far
As a fan of all things pc builds and a huge fan of mw2019(it's a FPS game) I strive on having good WiFi and if I don't well I start loosing my mind when I bought this I had recently upgraded WiFi which supports WiFi 6 and I figured my pc will be bottlenecked by the current WiFi card I had installed so I had gone ahead and bought this and my oh my this is a so far the best investment I've made into my current build (but there will be many more upgrades to come) but this is well worth your money if fits nice and tight the signal strength is amazing and the consistency of the WiFi speeds is amazing amazing stability amazing performance nothing can go wrong so if you're still on the fence about getting this get it even if you don't of the best of WiFi this will surely take more advantage of whatever WiFi you have and if you do go to upgrade your WiFi you won't have to make two purchases

Good but not plug and play
My old wifi adapter gave around 60Mb / 30Mb on a 157Mb / 34Mb connection. This one gives 154Mb / 31Mb, which is as good as possible on wifi two rooms away from an eero (urgh). My gripes are that it's not plug and play on Win 10 - you need to download the driver and run it first. Adapters I used before at least allow you to get online enough to download the driver, even if the connection is flaky, but this flatly refuses to even display the available networks without a driver. Tricky if you don't have another adapter to use and can't wire your connection. Also, the USB lead to the docker is quite stiff making positioning of the thing clumsy. Still, first impressions are than it works well under Win 10.

Amazing. Does what it says on the tin. 800Mbps from the 3rd floor. Exceptional performance.
Amazing. I have tried so many Wifi adapters to get my upstairs PC working better. I have 900Mbps Broadband but was getting only 160-200Mbps on my existing adapter. Initially the new Archer installed and then would not connect or see any Wifi networks. I suspected a WIN10 driver issue to I discarded the driver supplied with the device and downloaded a new latest one from TP Link support site. Bingo 800Mbps !! Just the best Wifi dongle ever ! I also tried it on my WIN 11 laptop with the original driver and it was fine. So the initial issue was a WIN10 driver issue but its all perfect now. So if you experience any issues don't worry just go to TP Links driver download and get the latest and you won't be disappointed.

adapter that brings modern wireless performance
⭐ Overview The TP-Link Archer TX20UH is an AX1800 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 USB adapter that brings modern wireless performance to devices that lack built-in Wi-Fi 6 support. It connects via USB 3.0 and uses dual high-gain antennas plus Beamforming to improve signal strength and range. 👍 Pros Great speeds that supports Wi-fi 6 with dual-band speeds up to ~1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and ~574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz — great for streaming, downloads, and basic gaming. 📡 Improved Coverage High-gain antennas and Beamforming help pull in weaker signals from farther away, especially helpful in larger rooms or when the router isn’t nearby. ⚡ USB 3.0 Performance USB 3.0 interface avoids the bottlenecks of older USB 2.0 adapters, giving faster data throughput when paired with a USB 3.0 port. 🔐 Modern Security WPA3 support adds up-to-date encryption protection for your connection. 🧰 Easy Setup Plug-and-play with drivers included, and TP-Link’s flexible dock and cable help you find an optimal placement. 👎 Cons ⚠️ Occasional Stability Issues connection drops, ping spikes, or temporary loss of signal, especially during gaming or high-stress network activity. Some of this seems related to drivers or configuration rather than the hardware itself, but it’s worth noting for demanding use cases. 📦 Size & Setup The adjustable high-gain antennas and external dock are great for signal quality, but they make it larger than ultra-compact “nano” dongles. takes up more desk space or needs careful placement. 🧠 Who Is This Best For? ✔ Users with desktops or older laptops that need Wi-Fi 6 support ✔ Those wanting better range and speeds than older Wi-Fi 5 adapters ✔ People wanting a straightforward external upgrade without opening a PC ⚠ Not ideal if you need rock-solid competitive gaming wireless performance or absolute maximum throughput—wired Ethernet is still the most reliable choice there. 🏁 Verdict It’s especially worth it if your PC currently has weak or outdated Wi-Fi. Just be aware that some environments and driver setups may require a bit of tweaking to get the most stable experience.

Does the job
Worked perfectly straight out of the box, for my Windows 11 PC. No need to mess around with downloading a driver: that happened automatically. Speed is good: it keeps up with my full-fibre connection. No outages in 3 weeks of use so far.

Faulty - do not recommend except for basic browsing
Unfortunately the adapter (mostly likely the driver) is faulty. I replaced my original one, assuming it was a singular faulty unit, but my replacement had the same issue - massive ping spikes and connectivity drops. For everyday browsing, this adapter has great speeds (800mb/s+ out of a possible 1gb/s) but for gaming, streaming or any other ping- or connectivity-reliant task it fails. It will randomly spike up to 200-500ms ping times, usually 2-3 times in a ten minute period. Occasionally, the ping delay is so long that the connection drops entirely for 3-4 seconds, making it unusable for anything but downloads and browsing. No other adapter I've used has had this issue. TP-link's support person was as helpful as they could be, asked for logs, etc. but ultimately couldn't actually fix the issue as it's on their end. The cherry on top is that 4-5 months after purchasing, it simply stopped working. The light won't come on and it isn't detected by my PC. Overall a massive disappointment as if it had worked, it would've been perfect - especially for the price. Can not recommend. I am currently using a slower TP-link nano which has been great, but I will be looking elsewhere for a faster adapter

Good!
So far it's good! Easy installation, fairly high wifi speeds. 300mbps+ My computer is quite far away from modem, so I am quite happy with those speeds, connection currently seems stable. I'm on windows 11, I will try to update review of any issues (if any)
