MQMotion Sickness Patch,10 Count/Box

These MQ motion sickness patches are the only thing I've found that actually helps when I'm doing something that usually triggers my motion sickness, like intense rollercoasters. They aren't a complete fix, but they definitely take the edge off and make a huge difference. They also stay stuck on really well throughout the day. You get a decent quantity in the box, and since I only use them occasionally, they last a good while, and the expiry dates have been good.

I used these for a 20 hour ferry crossing in fairly calm seas. Delighted....no nausea, which I would normally have just looking at a boat. However, the return crossing was slightly more lively, and after a very light meal, disorientation, slight nausea and stomach discomfort set in. The first stages of mal de mer for me. I chewed some crystallised ginger and lay down to sleep. Previously i would have had a miserable time trying to sleep, but there was no problem. Awoke refreshed and feeling good, and the sea was calm again. Without the patches, I would have probably felt awful in the same conditions on the return trip. So I guess they did something. They are easy to use and pleasantly herbal scented. Unobtrusive just behing the ears. I prefer them to the wrist bands you can buy. And definitely better than the chemical tablets I have used to date.Will update when I have tried them out on a small yacht.

they worked very well for me its important to note they do have a slightly herbal smell not overpowering smells kind of like rosemary to me, without these i would usually have gotten sick and dizzy after a 10 to 20 minute drive in a taxi like i have done many times on a week end to the same spot, but for the first time in my life i did not get sick or dizzy at all on around a 30 minute taxi journey yes it was a gamble to travel that far untested but hey i survived lol i actually got to enjoy a car journey for once instead of feeling sick dizzy and usually feeling sickness for half of day to 2 days depending how far i had to travel, again IMPORTANT TO NOTE these may have a different reaction for everyone but they very much have helped me very much, i hope this review helps you to and i really hope they will help you to enjoy travel more as well as they have for me.

Background: I have ongoing nausea due to a chronic condition, I get sick of taking a lot of medication. I wanted to try something else. Also, I was due to travel for a few hours via train and taxi, which only exacerbates the nausea as I have terrible motion sickness. So I found these.1) delivered in good time and before expected delivery date2) came well packaged3) instructions are simply, easily readable and in English (my first language)4) applied the patch and was a little dubious as even multiple antiemetics have not helped my motion sickness. But 1 hour into my journey - no nause. 2 hours in - no nausea. By the end of my 4 hour trip I couldn't believe I hadn't felt sick once, let alone been sick!5) I got to my hotel feeling refreshed, which if you suffer from motion sickness you'll know that's rare. You often get back feeling tired, wiped out, and unwell for a few hours even after travelling.6) the next day I was due to travel back. I had the same patch in situ, as they last for 3 days. Same again, absolutely no sickness. I was outstanded.7) Furthermore, I had realised something else. Even though I put these on for motion sickness, I had not had my chronic nausea. Granted it comes and goes, so I thought it was coincidence. However, I removed the patch and within a couple of hours I felt my normal nausea return. I put a new patch on, and within 40 minutes my nausea had gone.8) for me, this worked for my travel sickness and chronic nausea. Brilliant product.9) only negative, which is not actually reliable is this.. I have always had clear skin. Since using the product, my face has massively flared up with spots. It's not a rash, or an allergy, just looks like normal spots teenagers get. I don't want to unfairly mark the product, as it could just be a random coincidence. So I've taken the patch off and will re-review in a few days to let you know if the patch was to cause for my random change in skin. Even if it is, I'll still be using, because vanity over well being is just not my priority.

Didn't notice much effect

I don't know if it's in my head but they seem to work great. I used them anytime traveling over and hour and not had issues.

My hubbie, who has always had motion sickness on airplanes and boats, has used these recently. He was sceptical at first, thinking the first time was a fluke but now having used these three times very successfully, has now accepted that these really do work. Let me give some context: He would spend the entire flight with his eyes closed, not talking or moving from his seat. Now, not only are his eyes open during the flight, he is interactive, moving from his seat and eating and drinking during the journey. The same applied to a boat trip. They also work for car sickness for another family member. I totally recommend these.
