Barry M Lip Paint, 100 - Baby Pink

Brand new sealed lovely colour lasts well

Amazing how something so small can bring such pleasure. My mother has loved Barry M lippy forever and when she could no longer find it in the local high street became quite despondent. Thankfully Amazon came to the rescue and she now has a steady stream of her favourite Lippy delivered to her door via the subscription service. Timed just right a new one arrives just before the old runs out, well done Amazon. The lip paint is, and I use my Mothers words here, simply the best Lip stick you can buy. It is a great all day wear and she is never with out it she uses it as a sun screen as well as a make up. She likes everything about it saying nothing else comes close to it for quality and colour. Easy to apply and easy to remove at bed time. She just loves it.

I'm not a make-up girl at all. I never know what I'm doing, and with lipsticks I never know what suits me and what looks like a child playing dress-up. So why I thought about buying a lipstick at all is beyond even me, but I am very glad that I did, and EXTREMELY happy that I chose this one. I was very dubious about the colour at first. I knew that it would go pink based on the PH balance of my lips, but I was worried that that it would turn out to be the most unflattering shade possible and that I would be stuck with it until it wore off and that I would have to foist the lipstick off on one of my make-up guru friends instead. It's almost like this lipstick knows me. As it developed after application, I kept an eye on it for a few minutes, and it was as if the lipstick just shut off at a good tone. I'm always worried about how my lips will look with bright colours, but even though this became rather bright, it still stayed a shade that looked flattering to my skin tone, and was easy to pair with even my normal unflattering clothing eg. a t-shirt, pair of jeans, and Converse (accompanied by messy in-need-of-re-dyeing hair). As for the staying power, the colour lasted for hours. I was able to eat two meals and a snack during the day, plus a few glasses of water before it had even faded slightly. If you find you like it, it is extremely good value for money if you drink a lot through the day or are on a night out. The lipstick itself did feel a little drying, but that can be fixed with some lip balm/vaseline. I'm not sure whether it would suit everyone, but for me, this has possibly been the best of the few beauty purchase I have made besides my red eyeshadows. I would most definitely buy this lipstick again, and urge everyone considering it to go find it in a shop and try it on at least once.

I’ve been buying Baby Pink for years because I love the colour. I have a few in the black and the gold cases. I’m lucky if it last 30 minutes. What am I doing wrong?

This product is VERY pale lavender. I found this on quite creamy to go on.(The first one of the same range I brought felt horrible, quite hard, even slightly gritty.) But I love Barry M so much I tried a different shade I wanted, and I am glad I did. I find it needs to be blotted and have another coat at least, and be blotted again to show 'nicely'.I felt other wise I felt it did not show enough. I also think that using a purple tinted lip gloss over the top would help remove some of the paleness-I found I HAD to do this with the orange one, or it looked to overpoweringly bright pale orange! I use MAC lipglass over the top and it looks divine. However, I would not wear the orange Barry M without a lipgloss to soften the look, and I WILL wear the Lavender with out it, its not quite as stark, so can be worn alone, if you like! But its a lovely shade. I love alot of his colours. I found also that buying it on Amazon was even cheaper than purchaseing it from Ebay or in Superdrug (I had free shipping tho!!) On the whole the only regret is that its not just a little darker in shade. It is pale and the photos are deceptive in the depth of colour, I feel. So go by the name of it; PALEST LAVENDER, cos it really is!! But I do not regret buying it at all. The price is quite nice too!

I've used this sort of lipsticks for years, by different manufacturers. I've sometimes had difficulty finding them, so I was delighted to discover Barry M! It's great! The green colour is just a ruse, it turns pink/red when you use it, but the really great thing is that it's indelible! Lasts for hours and you don't have to use much. What I normally do is to use a bit of this as a lip stain and then top it with a lip gloss or another non-indelible lipstick. It does look great just on it's own though. I LOVE lipstick!

Was surprised how bright the colour was. But i think i like it. Lasts ages and doesn't smudge or dry your lips out. Great value for money. PS sorry for the awful picture!

The shade of pink was too bright and nothing like the photo.

Da ich ein absoluter Fan von roten Lippenstiften bin und seit meinem 18 Geburtstag auf der Suche nach dem langanhaltenden und perfektem Ton bin, muss ich zugeben, dass dieser hier alle anderen schlägt. In meiner Lippenstiftschublade sind Rottöne in allen Preisklassen: von essence bis Chanel. Dieser hält am längsten (mit Essen + Trinken): ca. 3-4 Std. Ich merke ihn nicht auf meinen Lippen und er fühlt sich sogar sehr pflegend an - alles top! Ich empfehle SEHR: den "grünen" Lippenstift dieser Marke, der dann eine individuelle "Pinknote" auf den Lippen zaubert:) Der hält ewig - sogar am nächsten Tag hat man einen leichten, pinken Schatten auf den Lippen:)

the color is very bright. And it's a matte lipstick. Not for everyone, but I love it, especially when I'm going out at night.

Der Lippenstift ist cremig und liegt gut auf den Lippen, allerdings hält er nicht all zu lange und das finde ich schade. Trotzdem ein Highlight!

I needed a really nice nude shade and so I decided to buy Marshmallow by Barry M. I was not disappointed! I absolutely love the thick opaque formula and the way it looks paired with the intense eye makeup look. It's the perfect nude and gives your lips excellent coverage. You might have to touch it up after eating/drinking, but other than that, it's definitely a five star lipstick. I'll be buying it again and highly recommend it!
