Sliding like a pro
This sliding barn door hardware works so smoothly, I’m convinced it’s secretly magic. No squeaks, no jams—just effortless sliding. Installation was easier than I expected (and I’m no handyman). If you want your door to glide like a pro and impress your guests, this is the stuff. Warning: May cause sudden urges to install barn doors everywhere!

Nice barn door hardware.
This is my second type of barn door hardware. I must say I like the ease of installation and the way it is put together, I usually have to install it by myself, so I like the way, it had 2 screws and a plate to keep the pieces together, at each point. My other one did not have that, so when you tried to pick it up, it would tip, and tend to fall apart, before you could get it attached. Might also been a learning process, because I had never installed a barn door before. Would definitely buy this unit again, if I had another project. Works great! Nice and smooth operation.

Quality, Attractive, Cost Effective, Barn Door Hangar
The price is great! Durable and stylish AND instructions are clear, easy to install. (NOTE: if mounting on drywall, make sure backing plate is installed at each mounting point prior to hanging drywall.) The barn door hangar comes with two (2) separate sets of hardware. One for drywall and the other for brick. I have mine in drywall and the movement of the door is secure and can’t wallow out the holes in the backing plate.

Pretty good hardware, with one major caveat
The hardware is quite sturdy and I am confident that it will hold up well. I have no doubt at all that it can support even of heaviest of interior wood doors. My door opening is taller than standard and I had to extend the height of the barn door that I purchased at HD. But it looks good. Here is the only word of warning... The track is in sections (as others have noted). There is a little bit of play in the connection points... they are not machined to very tight tolerances. As a result, the sections of the track WILL shift up or down with the weight of the door. This is more of an annoyance than a major functional problem. But you *will* visually notice that the track is not perfectly straight horizontally, as the sections shift up or down.

Great quality
Very heavy metal, not cheap and thin, haven't installed it yet (currently building the door), but I can tell this is a good solid hardware kit.

Can be cut to fit smaller than 6ft areas. Solid Hardware Kit
I installed this kit into a space about 5 1/2 feet wide To do this, I held the bar up against the wall, taking care to line the mounting holes up with the clearly marked studs (using painters tape). Once lined up w the studs, I marked and cut the ends off on each side. From here, I drilled two new mounting holes through the bar for the end studs which should be present on any wall. This is a very soft steel so drilling was very easy. I had to trim the flange off one side of the mounting stand-offs to allow it to fit flush against the corner wall. This allowed the included wood-threaded bolts to go through the [near] center of the wall stud.Installation tips: This kit comes with very smooth rolling hardware so you have to be sure to get your top bar as absolutely level as possible. This also ensuring that the bar is straight through each joint. There are five sections so all four joints have to be very straight. If you have a slight "up" angle at either end, as I did, the door won't stay pushed all the way to that side. To fix mine, I was able to lightly knock the end down at the last (leftmost) mounting standoff.Spacers are included which are meant to go between the rail stand-offs and the wall. I initially did not use them and the roller bolts rubbed on the wall ever so slightly. I installed one set of spacers which resulted in perfect spacing. The floor guides can be the trickiest part if you're drilling through vynil or laminate flooring to get down to some concrete. I drilled through the vinyl using a standard multi-purpose bit, then switched to a masonry bit to get down into the slab for the insert. I only installed a single floor guide on the outside for now and am using peel-n-stick felt dots on the back of the door to ride on the baseboard. So far this is good but I have some clear protective vinyl adhesive on order which we will install on the baseboard to make it slide easier/smoother as well as provide protective layer on top of the baseboard paint. All in all, this is a very solid kit that installs well.

It’s Fine!
Good new and bad news.Good news - it arrived quickly and items are packed in a quality box with thick quality plastic to prevent scratches.Bad News -Missing rubber jump-stops & Falsely advertised as if the product is a solid piece of steel (all picture show the rail as being a solid one piece.)Precision CNC’ed Parts & “May need to be tapped together”……1 - this absolutely cannot be true. After putting the pieces together and using the supplied brackets to attach the 5 separate rail pieces, you cannot get the screws tight enough to prevent sagging as the puzzle pieces are so far out of tolerance that they move.2 - because the rail is NOT milled, the rollers poorly promote the door from leaning. Meaning, the bottom of the door is ALWAYS pushing toward the wall resulting in worn slid marks on the bottom of the door where the “guide” is doing the work to keep the door off the wall at all times.

What a nice kit!
I didn't know what to expect for such a reasonable price, but was pleasantly surprised. It came with all hardware and all the pieces are actually metal, not cheap plastic. I also had concerns about the 5 piece rail, but my concerns were unfounded. It assembled easily and with the countersunk screws and support plates, it's very rigid. No complaints here! Everything in nicely painted and looks great. The hanger and roller assembly it nice and heavy and rolls nice. The stops for fully open or closed even have rubber bumpers for quiet operation.
