Works well
Seems to be working well. Just need to get used to a slight delay in the lights turning on when using the switching

Brilliant, worth the extra money
Bought this to replace a £10 2 gang dimmer switch from Wilkinson.Extremely easy to fit (took about 3 mins) as it was a straight swap (being a bloke I didn't read the manual, just swapped the wires to the new switch as it was the exact same layout internally). The quality is good, feels very solid. The lights have a smooth fade effect when you turn then off, on or change the level.Initially I thought it was faulty as one side didn't seem to dim, but I just needed to adjust the minimum brightness, which the instructions tell you how to do (they aren't great instructions, but I figured it out and had adjusted within 3-4 mins, so not awful). This is actually a really nice feature that you can change the max and min settings incase you will never want a light below/higher a certain value. Also, I'm using this with LED E27 bulbs and they work perfectly (and only use 5w of power each!).

i found this quite illuminating :-)
The item worked fine ...I have 2 sets of the ikea spots in my lounge and the switch dims fine until it reaches about 25% illumination, then i get a disco dancing ceiling effect.I suspect IKEA's LEDARE LED 400lm (white & purchased around march 2016) to be the issue, not the switch, as the older silvergrey models from ikea from 2 years ago, dimmed fine in another room, with a similar switch). And the guy at ikea said, the new ones have better tech advances ... err well perhaps not, based on the YMCA action my ceiling gets on that low dim).Build quality of the switch is ok. A switch is a switch for most people and i guess you wouldn't look here if you want spend £100 on a switch lol

Works well, looks good.
Changing a like for like dimmer switch because I had bought a new dimmable LED bulb for one of the lights it controlled. This is expensive when put beside its ordinary counterpart, and not quite the same quality as you'd get from, say, an Aurora version, but once fitted, it looks well, works well and does the job.

Best dimmer ever
Varilight never let me down. Their dimmers are always good. I tried a few other dimmers before. They either made nosies or not fully compatible with leds as they claimed. Varilight's 1-gang and 2-gang dimmers are always good.

Looks terrible, good components though
The view they have chosen to show this product is the only decent one there is. The dials are small and the hex nuts they used are very large which results to any side views of this product looks terrible. I've attached a picture where you can see the hex nuts quite clearly and even some of the thread underneath. The only saving grace about this product and the only reason why I am not returning is that the V-Pro back boxes where the same size of my old back boxes in my old dimmer switch so I just swapped them over.Only buy if you can swap the fascia around.

Works really well after setting up
Bought this for my dining room to control 3 5W candles and 4 6W GU10s. Needed to adjust the minimum brightness because as supplied it hardly dimmed the lights at all but the programming procedure was pretty straightforward and now works a treat. No buzz, no flicker but there is about 1 second delay when the lights are first turned on before they fade up. Ordering a second one for the living room.

Works well with good quality dimmable LED bulbs.
I bought two of these as they are listed as being compatible with dimmable LED bulbs - in this case I had bought Philips 18W Master LED bulb - and work well together. They are more expensive than standard dimmer switches but if they protect the more expensive LED bulbs from failing then they're worth the money. So far so good and working as expected.
