Minimonkey Minichair (Orange)

This is handy has it's so small it can be carried around everywhere. I use it as my baby is quite thin and wriggly and squirms out of the square high chairs you often find in restaurants and this provides a bit of extra security. It doesn't completely prevent her from wriggling free, or I would have given it 5 stars. It's very flexible as you can use it as extra strapping on high chairs or on virtually any normal chair.The current description on the amazon site talks about a 'baby sling'. Used this while on holidays in Spain. Very simple to use and super handy; easily fit in the changing bag without taking up much space.

We bought the Minimonkey Minichair for our 10 month old just before we were about to undertake a long stint of travelling (2 months). We have used it in dozens of restaurants and other locations and it really does fit on every chair. We also tended to use it in restaurants where a high chair is available but might not have a harness or doesn't feel very secure and it provided additional stability. It's very easy to use and he never keeled off the chair when it was on, which was my initial concern. Our child is now 12 months old and absolutely adores seeing the Minimonkey come out (mostly becuase it means he'll get fed!).

Ive used it weekly after I received it. Very practical and handy to keep with when travelling! I recommend it :)

I bought this for my 16 month old to sit on chairs when we are out and about. It is good idea but the product doesn't really hold a wriggly monkey. It probably works well on much younger babies when they just start sitting up and not strong enough to wriggle out of it. If you look at the product in the photo, you will notice the little girl sits there with legs flat on the chair. That's our problem. I tied to let my 16 month old sit on an adults chair in front of a table to feed herself (she is at the age of insisting on feeding herself). She feels so tired after a short while, and refused to eat her food. Imagine if you have to bend over to reach food on a table with that sitting position (legs straight and flat)!+: light weight, washable, good idea-: fabric for sitting area is too little, doesn't tie a toddler proper, if you try strapping more tightly, my daughter feels very uncomfortable. Imagine you are wearing a very tight pan around your waist! Easy to wriggle out - all she needs to do is lying down horizontal on the chair, then you have to get her out.
