How do you remove and replace the batteries & what size batteries are required?

The grinder uses AA batteries. To replace them, you simply open the device by twisting the top counter-clockwise. The batteries are in the top section.

How much does it hold?

I never measured the amount of peppercorns it holds but it lasts awhile if a small family is using it. DO NOT use large peppercorns as they will get stuck in the grinder.

How long do the batteries last with daily use?

With two people using them daily, and the occasional company, we have not had to replace batteries since we got them two years ago.
