All locks were actually the same key. I have bought from others and always had a few with a different key for some of the locks.

Are these secure? No more so than the zip ties previously used to secure tote lids.These locks are your typical garden variety dollar store luggage locks without TSA compatibility. All do appear to have same keys, at least 10 share same key. Each comes with 3 keys in the individual box for each lock.Lock mechanism on 2 or 3 (out of 10 so far) is a bit rough, but feels like getting smoother as is used. Had the idea of rinsing out lock and shackle areas with contact cleaner, but no good way of lubricating again. The shop I work in is beyond dirty and filthy as we work on trains. Any lube I add would begin to attract / pickup dirt, felt forgoing contact cleaner and keeping factory lube would be best course of action.If a lock does fail, I have 6 more spares and 48 keys. Again, these are NOT high strength / High Security pad locks. They can easily be cut with lineman pliers. They can easily have their shackles twisted to point of failure. As stated earlier, these replace zip ties that were holding a plastic lid to a plastic tote, secured roughly in middle subjecting tote to peel-back pilferage.In a nutshell, locks have about 1in by 1/8" shackle, small body. Keys work satisfactorily. Most important is if I get into the 5 totes 10 times this year, they will have been cheaper than cost of replacement zip ties, not to mention time and effort to cut and replace stainless ties. At $2 ea, hard to go wrong.

Hard to find this many locks all keyed the same. Work great and very happy with them.

Bought these to lock my gun cases, which is required in my stupid state of California, I wanted to have one key to open all the locks, so the same key option was very useful. I now have a bunch of keys since the individual locks come with 3 keys. This is a pretty good option to lock small things like carrying cases. I would definitely purchase again. Just remember it's low security applications.

Tested all 16 and all opened with same key. Did a random test with other keys and they worked.Locks appear to be well made and work.
