DYSON - FILTRE Pour ASPIRATEUR DC62 DYSON

Ordered this direct from Amazon rather than a market place seller to try to ensure this was the genuine product.I wanted a genuine one and hopefully I have one. It looks like it's in the original box and it fits well. It has the same markings as the original one that came with my Dyson V6...though the pattern is slightly different which does raise alarm bells.As you can see from my pictures the tap icons seem to be filled in with white rather than the one that came with my Dyson V6 are actually only outlined in white with a see through picture of the tap.On the Dyson website they are still my original filter, with just the white outline rather than filled in.So, who knows, unless you order direct from Dyson then I guess it is a gamble.Dyson was about the same price but with P&P on top of course.Saying that, this filter from Amazon fits fine and it doesn't stick up or leak air past it and judging from the build seems just as well made as the original. It has all the rubber filter seals at the time and the material feels just as thick.Will update the review should I have an issue during normal use.

Purchased this filter directly from Amazon. Pretty certain that it is genuine Dyson part. It looks exactly like the one that came with Dyson V8 cordless vacuum and works equally well too.Like the original this filter is reusable. Dyson recommends that the filter be washed with cold water every 3 months. Or if you are forgetful like me, I wash it as soon as the vacuum starts misbehaving, like cutting out intermittently during use. It is very handy to a spare filter to use when one is being washed and dried.

Having wondered for years (yes, years) why my Dyson would emit a small cloud of dust from the rear vent (the motor vent) every time it was first used after emptying, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a new filter.Now I know why - it was the old (original Dyson) filter! Clearly not fitting properly after many years of use, and allowing a good chunk of dust to find its way into the motor.This replacement filter fits perfectly and has completely cured that problem without losing any suction. Perfect!

The product arrived in a timely manner and wasn't too expensive. It was an original Dyson part.

For a spare filter to go with my V6 Animal Dyson. I find the filter takes a long time to dry after being rinsed that's even in summer so to have a spare I can alternate between will be much better.Maybe they should come with a spare from new maybe Mr Dyson?The new filter looks absolutely fine to me I see they have added a double lip to the seal when it's located in the dyson so a modification and improvement there.Pleased with quality and a v.good price compared to other prices I have seen around online, so thank you.Very pleased with service too, thank you.

Dyson handheld kept stuttering and stopping. Washing the filter helped for a bit, but this new replacement filter has given it a new lease of life.

Some people questioned in reviews how this could be genuine when some came from Singapore but that is ok Dyson have a main factory there, feel free to check. It is unlikely to be genuine and made in UK. Filter arrived in 3 days as expected and is exactly the same as the one that came originally with my Animal V6.
