Rust-Oleum AMZ0026 Chalky Finish Furniture Paint - Duck Egg - 750ml

Excellent paint. TIPS: you will need 2 coats. First coat use thinly, it takes 30 minutes to dry if painted thinly and evenly. Second coat can be applied a lot thicker. Don’t be put off by the colour when just applied. I thought it looked almost grey after finishing the second coat. Upon waking up the next day and having had hours of drying, the colour was lovely and even and a nice blue colour - see pictures for difference in colour. It definitely darkens as it drys.

it's a good quality paint powdery to look at i used it for a single 1950's small wardrobe as the veneer was ruined , it covered the sides and front two doors, one coat, the back i left unpainted as was not hard wood. it was finished with the furniture wax in the same brand, only just covered everything , it has a slightly spongy type feel now it is completed and dried , i did a little distressing where i imagined it might improve the overall appearance, it is certainly an improvement and is now as far as i know a unique piece in my bedroom, very reasonable price for the paint considering what you can do with it

I had never painted furniture before, mainly because I fear for my health from paint smell. However, this paint is the best paint I could find, great consistency, colour, and dry time is minimal. All you need is one coat!!! Perfect!

I love this paint and use it often. Great coverage. I tend to leave the lid off for a bit to let it thicken up. Also applies to laminated ikea furniture no problem with very little preparation. Unless you've got a bumpy surface, i find it applies perfectly if you just give the furniture a wipe down first. No priming, sanding etc. Finished with the wax from the same range. Covered a 4x2 black ikea kallax unit with less than one tin and no prep - all done and dry in an evening - and in duck egg, not a dark colour. Duck egg is more blue than green - my monitor showed it as a greeny shade.

This was an Amazon Prime purchase. Delivery was fast, but the tin was badly damaged. However, no leaking or anything, so that's fine.Painting was really easy. The paint did dry within an hour. A very easy to handle paint, good for diy beginners like myself.However this is not Duck Egg :( I would have liked the colour to be as shown here, the slightly greenish accent is missing. It turned out to be baby blue.If you are looking for baby blue, this is your colour. Go for it. Not if you want duck egg.
