Gelli Arts 12 x 14-inch Gel Printing Plate

Arrived safely and well packaged - thank you. After watching several videos on its use- buy a professionally made one for artworks that you may work on seriously. It has a flat smooth surface and care needs to be taken when cleaning (use baby wipes) and store flat and clean after use. Good for hobbyists and children's art but you could buy smaller ones for that. It's a great product to experiment with and there are instant results from a single 'pull'. However with practice and forethought you can get incredible layers and depth of colours.

A brilliant piece of equipment for creative fun to have in my house. Its so easy to use and to clean. I bought it for myself for using when I scrapbook and make cards, but my children have seen how easy it is to use, and with the barest amount of adult supervision involved.This particular size of 6 by 6 inches is perfect for designing small items for cards and scrapbook focal images. Gelli Arts does have printing plates of various sizes as well as a round plate.I thoroughly recommend this to anyone and everyone with or with children.

I had feared that this would smell funny, or be too small but its brilliant. I work on a small scale ATCs and A6 cards, its been wonderful.Small, portable and doesn't take much room to store. Keep it in the packaging it comes in, so be careful opening it and store it flat.Much fun! product is fine , but then received lots of same product, recommended ads at cheaper prices, which leaves me feeling miffed, so 4 stars

Great way to start monoprinting. Very satisfying to roll out colours and have a result in just a few minutes. Totally addictive. Great for clawing back some creativity.

I am having fun with this! I do keep wondering whether I ought to have bought a larger one, but I simply wanted to try it first. It cleans easily, takes the paint well, although when I first used it it was resisting the paint a little. I rinsed it under the tap and dried it off with paper towels. That seems to have sorted it out. I expect there was some residual of grease on it when new. I have used it successfully with perforated packing paper, my rubbing boards and drawing a comb through the paint. I have many other plans for it. I use it for printing on fabric, and it does this perfectly well.I might buy a larger one some time in the future.
