perfect little chopper
As other reviews have noted, this will definitely obliterate anything you put on it. I previously had a large kenwood food processor. After 2 years of constant use, it finally broke down. I was looking or something smaller and cheap to replace the kenwood since I now have a large kMix food mixer with attachments that can do other tasks (i.e. mincing meat, grating cheese, carrots, etc.). This guy was perfect! A few pulses is all it takes to mince garlic or onions or make a pesto or a paste. It is also super easy to clean. With my old kenwood, I would find it difficult to remove bits that get jammed in the central thing under the blade. This one is a solid piece of plastic with no hollows and is therefore a lot easier to wash. One thing to note is that even with the milkshake attachment, I was not able to make homemade mayonnaise in this guy, which I used to be able to do in my kenwood. I am able to do it in my mixer however, so not a problem for me. Overall very happy with value for price. I've been using it almost daily since I got this months ago and it's still going strong!Update Apr 2013 -One year later, the bottom container of the chopper has cracked in several places and leaks now. To be fair, for less than 20 quid, it was worth it as I used it several times a week. Also to update my review above, I was able to make mayonnaise in it after all. I just had to adjust how I put in the ingredients a bit. I love this guy so much that I'm going to purchase another one now to replace the broken one.

Kitchen Saviour
This is a fantastic kitchen chopper and my second purchase of one in fifteen years.Only bought a second one because I was afraid they would go out of stock and because I lost the little rubber that fits in the plastic container. It has a great compact size for my kitchen and is quick and easy to wash. The motor is easy to slot on and gives me no hassles unlike larger processors. I use my revel to chop garlic, ginger, mince onions etc. I also bought the spice grinder a few years ago for harder seeds etc. This product is good value for money. Bought one for my mum as well who hasn’t had any problems. You can also use it for shakes as well. Enjoy.

Great Value So get one.
Perfect, easily chops, blends everything. Great for marinades. No more tears over onions.Small, compact so storage is easy too.

Cheap and small, but not great for processing
This little food chopper was cheap and arrived quickly, however it didn't do it for me.The top bit doesn't fit firmly with the bottom container, which causes it to shake when it's working. The design of the chopper doesn't allow the food to get mushy. It does chop the food, but leaves big chunks.

Mini blender, ideal for small batches.
Bought this for mainly for making masalas and paste mixtures for Asian cooking so I wouldn't have to use a large food processor and it does the job perfectly. Secondly, cleaning the food processor afterwards has always been an annoyance with me so its size and the simplicity of the bowl/cutter were high priorities on the list. Again quick and simple to clean. The only downside is the lid isn't watertight, so don't overfill it as it will dribble down the outside slightly. I would recommend this mini blender.

Wonderful
Does the job perfectly without any of the contents leaking out. When I have finished it is easy to clean. What more could I ask of something which costs so little?Ideal for small jobs such as salad dressings, sauce bases, gravies, etc. Probably my most used processor.

OK for small amounts for a very fine result.
I am relatively unimpressed with this chopper. Yes it is cheap and well made. However, the motor unit only sits on the top of the bowl and is pushed down to switch on the power. I'd prefer something that locked in place so it wouldn't fall off when not in use.I used this chopper first of all to make some wild garlic pesto. It had difficulty with the wild garlic leaves unless they were pre-chopped. It also doesn't mix the ingredients together because it only has the two blades at the bottom of the container and nothing to bring the unchopped material down to the blades. As a result the bottom couple of centimeters get really blizzed and the stuff at the top remains unchopped. Using the extra 'milk-shake' part of the blade helps a bit but really you still have to keep mixing everything up manually. I was only making a small jam jar amouont of pesto and it would only cope with a quarter of the mixture at a time until it was finely chopped. If you want a coarse pesto, as I did, then you'll have to do it by hand with a chopping knife and a pestle and mortar!

Glad we found the same products again
This is exactly the product we had been looking for. We had a similar one for a few years. Excellent quality and functionality. Glad we found it again. Tried it here in between, but they did not do what we wanted it to do, for our cooking needs.
