Excellent water flosser !!!
Ok, so this is my second Waterpik, the first was recommended to me by my dentist because I suffered from bleeding gums and regular, expensive and painful trips to the hygienist. After a few tries and getting used to the water pressure, no more issues with my gums. You notice straight away how effective it is, your mouth feels really clean and you can't help running your tongue around the edges as though you have just been to the dentist feeling! My old one packed in and I bought this because it had great reviews. With this being my 2nd Waterpick I immediately noticed some improvements:- 1. The lid is now hinged and no longer falls off when you are trying to refill the reservoir. 2. There is an on/off switch on the implement which is brilliant because that means you can stop the water flow which helps when you need to take a breather. 3. It is not as bulky as my last one and sits nicely in my bathroom unit. 4. The cord is slightly longer so no issues on it coming out, see pics above. This is much more effective than manual flossing because it reaches all the nooks and crannies that you cannot see. I have also introduced it to my 9yr old son who thinks this is a great water machine for now but please ensure the setting is very low at first because the water jet is very strong. As soon as you get used to it you can up the setting as you prefer. Unfortunately my Waterpik developed a fault after a few days and keeps switching itself off. I have contacted the seller and they are sending my a replacement which is great. Don't let this put you off buying a Waterpik, otherwise I wouldn't have asked for a replacement. I just wanted to give you an honest review.

Great product.
Good quality, use it everyday. Great for getting under crowns and round implants.

Works well, but a bit n the cheap side
It really is a very useful thing. It complements the flossing. You can floss less and it takes stress of the teeth. Probably better than oil-pulling too. It seems to be one of the best water flossers on the market. The water container is the right size. I only use one - the highest - power setting, but it is strong enough. The handle is not perfectly comfortable and the machine a bit flimsy. But that is unimportant. I am glad I bought this flosser and don't know of a better alternative. However there is one serious flaw: The water container deforms if you put very hot water in it. Heat is the best disinfectant, hence a different - more expensive obviously - material should have been used. It would be ideal if one could run boiling water through the whole system. I haven't tried that. But I did try disinfecting the container and ordering replacement wasn't 100% straightforward. Including the delivery it ended up costing £20. I would have preferred paying £20 more for the original unit with a better container. Like the toothbrush, the water flosser is a dental/medical device and saves future visits to the dentist. So what are £20, or £120 for that matter, compared to that? Personally I would prefer paying double for a medical grade flosser made of stainless steel, glass and silicone through which I could just run boiling water once a week, or even triple for one that would boil the water itself and have a simple thermometer on the container for ease of use. Also it comes with this patronizing shaver socket plug. I have to use an adapter and the ones I found fit so-so. I have understanding for the manufacturer marketing to people unwilling to take care of their health before they get sick, some ignorant enough to take their baths with a hairdrier and install a coffee-maker in the shower if you let them have a real socket there. But it is my review, and personally I would love a medical grade water flosser with a 3-pin plug. If the flosser survives a few years, I will amend the rating to 5.

Feels like a trip to the hygienist
Tricky at first but worth the time, effort and money as seeing is believing! Was very sceptical at first but even one use seems to prove this is worth using. You need enough space in your bathroom or you will not be able to use it and it works very well at also delivering mouthwash if you add this to the water tank before beginning your clean. My dentist has since said the results are amazing.

Perfect!
It's refreshing (pun intended) having a product that is designed perfectly in every respect. Easy to use. Easy to fill. Powerful. Looks great. Rugged, giving the impression it will last for years. Highly recommended

Good product, from someone who hates flossing
After a scary trip to the dentist, who told me I need quarterly trips to the hygienist until my gums improve - I through I'd try this as my teeth are too close together to use floss, and I only get 1 use from a TePe brush before it's knackered, on researching this, there is loads of accreditation and performance data, strangely only on the WaterPik website, so reserving judgement for how well it actually works - but hey, for £60 odd quid, I'll give it a go. This comes with a load of accessories, toothbrush head, periodontal pocket tip, 3x normal heads and a plaque seeker head (for braces) - the unit is quite small, and comes with a 2-pin (shaver socket) plug - so make sure you have a socket - was concerned as mine is part of the bathroom cabinet, but the flex is reasonably long - maybe 1m? and reaches fine. Worth a read of the instructions, along with the specific tip uses before you get started, as it takes some getting used to, I've nearly drowned myself with it, and covered the bathroom in water numerous times. That aside, I'm very pleased with it, it does a great job, and hopefully, in the long run cheaper than a pack of TePe brushes a week! A few reviewers have commented that theirs has packed up, and been replaced or refunded by Amazon, Worth noting that WaterPik themselves offer a 3 year warranty on this product.

Like a sandblaster in your mouth! And that's a good thing. Unfortunately lasted 16 months
Only had this a few days (as a Deal of the Day) and I'm impressed by how much "stuff" it blasts out of the gaps in my ageing maw. The build quality feels cheap to me, very cheap. Creaking plastic, rattling motor and an unnecessarily stiff tube from main unit to flosser, the latter making things a bit more awkward to move around your mouth than necessary. The plastic feel and rattling doesn't inspire hope for its longevity, but if it last a year, I'll be both surprised and I'll update this brief review with positivity. In terms of usage, I find the default "middle" power setting to be best. I'd really avoid sandblasting on the highest setting! :-) So: 5 stars for doing the job it was intended to do; 3 stars for apparent build quality (although I may be maligning it unfairly). Edit: 5th May, 2020: It lasted more than a year, in fact it lasted 16 months. However it "died" last night. You plug it into the shaver socket and the two lights flicker like they are shorting out and that's it, it won't turn on. I stand by every point of my review above: it's great at removing stuff, but it is a cheap and nasty build quality. I've ordered another because I can't see myself without it now as part of my teeth cleaning regimen. Let's see how long the new one will last.

Best investment I've ever made
Best thing I bought in a long time ... I'm just annoyed that I didn't know about water flossing sooner ... would've definitely visited the dentist far much less if I've been water flossing On the product it is very tough and controlling the pressure is great ... I'm glad I bought this one cause it has a big tank which is perfect for the amount of flossing I do .... I think it would've been very annoying if i bought the small one cause i wouldve needed to fill several times per session...

Weaker jet stream than expected.
Weaker, and more expensive than most portable options out there! Even weaker than some other brands!

Perfect !
Amazing for maintenance after a profesional dental cleaning. Once you try this, you’ll never leave it! The cord could be longer considering plugs are not allowed inside the toilet in this part of the world… I guess that’s the only hassle, other than that, it’s just perfect and won’t take much space in your countertop. Yes it’s on the expansive side, but the quality and power of the machine are great, and you’ll be amazed by the results from the first use. Go for it, you’ll not regret it !!!
