Keep your tools where you can find them
Great boxes that just work. Not for big tools but it's the smaller stuff that I struggle to find the most. In the past I've gone and bought replacements rather than waste an hour looking for something that vanishes when you most need it.Well built and holds quite a lot of small stuff. Can be labelled up to make retrieval quicker. An invaluable box that is expensive on the wallet but saves on your time - which do you value most? I'm getting another just as soon as I can afford it!

You will appreciate this investment.
I've been a fan of the Makita Mak Pac system have a few boxes, but the con of that type is the old style clips I find its a annoyance when opening and closing and can find the click will fall off some times as well, I became aware of this T-Loc system which is featured on the festool version which is an absolute brilliant design I have invested into the mini systainers which are amazing. This leads me on to this sorttainer, which I will admit is expensive but once it arrived and knowing about the ability to create labels and have that level of customization that makes it easier to get what you need at a glance.NOTE the dividers are noticed in the imaged but doesn't not specify in description they come with the sorttainer so please be aware of that, but by no means you should be put off as I bought the dividers to go with the box (shown in photo which I've organised screaws into) and are worth it in my opinion, the level of efficiency this gives you at your disposal and improves your productivity without you even really noticing, builds a unique personal understanding of the system that works for you,Conclusion I would say it's a slow process building up a collection of these boxes because of the prices, once that investment been made though, the returns are very noticeable as efficiency, productivity organisation all improve, which for me is where it makes it money.

Pure Bliss🌈🌅
Got this little baby at a small bargain here @Amazon UK ,as a “used-very good “ condition .Came super quick ,looked perfectly new except a small hardly noticeable dent on the top left corner...I’ve been walking around the house past few days and every time I spot that Sortainer I just can’t help myself from going up to it and opening those drawers top to bottom just to feel n hear that oh so nice “click” upon closing them back in🤷🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️😜🤣🤣🤣🤣what can I say I’m hooked...yet again!Anyway I can write so much about why these babies are oh so excellent and soon as I get the budget I’m orderin me at least one more, but I’m too tired😸🤷🏻♀️...so ,trust me,if you like Festool Systainers , you are achin for some simple order ,and plain n easy organizational comfort ,in regards to yer tools and countless accessories...get this!! The sooner the better, the more the merrier! The only beef I have with this guy is that the drawers’ dividers(which can be easily and “systemly” 😉 removed ) don’t have other configurations besides the two large rows left n right and one a bit smaller in the middle —>| ] [ | <~~~~rough diagramAh well , I can dream the good folks at Festool will put that in the Gen3 Sortainers and that those’ll be out sooner than I can say Splickity Lit!Right????Right?????????🤦🏽♀️😜🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️Thank you Festool for yet Another awesome piece of equipment!!👍🏿✌🏾❤️🌹🌕😄🌳🍃🏞🌅🐚✨❄️🌕🌹❤️

Well Done and Nice to have one of Festool's insanely expensive little boxes ...
Well Done and Nice to have one of Festool's insanely expensive little boxes back in the shop.It came with 2 front to back dividers per drawer. At one point I owned 5 of the original Sortainers on a cart. Don't require that much these days.Mine will house all the drill bits, connectors and two compact drills I use for assembly and installation.I purchased a box set for for one drawer.Pkg arrived in the states with some damage to the box (very little tape) but everything was AOK.Pleased with the purchase. Best to all across the pond

Sturdy, well made but heavy and expensive once accessorized
Bought this tool box (chest?) mainly to store fixtures and fittings along with the systainers containing the tools themselves. It is very sturdy, with the carcass in particular feeling very robust, as if you could use it as a step (although I've not risked finding out!). This sturdiness does come at the price of weight though - it is around 7kg when empty so worth bearing in mind if you are planning to carry it around slung under a drill case or similar. The feel of the drawer boxes didn't blow me away if I am being honest, essentially they are just plastic boxes sat inside a bigger plastic box. There are no runners to speak of although there are stops to prevent them coming all the way out. I have the DeWalt T-Stak equivalent which has proper metal runners meaning the action feels a lot more reassuring. To answer some of the confusion over what you get inside the drawers I have taken a picture as they are provided. Basically you get two long dividers (per drawer) that can be used to split the space in to three components. The dividers have lugs in them that could take smaller pieces going crossways to further divide it up but these are not supplied. Considering the price it would be nice to at least have as sample of some of the internal organisation boxes that you can get, but not providing at least the smaller dividers feels especially stingy.I'll see how it is once fully kitted out and bedded in but so far it seems like a good, solid box which pairs well with the rest of the festool range, but very expensive once you'd factored in all the bits to reach its potential
