It was sergested that I use a 12v/5v power lead from my computer but I didn't relish the idea of poking holes in the computer casing. Technical support from DIGIFLEX® was not needed. The writen instructions are a little jibberish but the unit was easy enough to set up any way. It is reasonable value for the price. It is really only for the more technical user. The instruction leaflet is very poor. The item on offer has no power supply, although the instructions make reference to one.
