Skylanders Trap Team: Starter Pack (Nintendo Wii)

The media could not be loaded. The fourth part of the Skylanders series is as good as the previous three sections. Challenging and entertaining. For me this is a very good buy, of course a five-star game!

I have no idea what is going on in this game, however, my twin boys love it and can play it with their friends!Extra characters are easyto come by when you go to CEX, for as little as 25p at times too. Adds to the game play for the boys and they love it.

My son has been asking for this game for his birthday for the past 5 months, not only did I spend money on this but also on traps and new characters. He has Spiro's adventure and was enjoying trap team until it started freezing. There are ways to get round this if you google the problem, but basically a defective game is continuing to be sold. If we try the 'cheat' then it may work but we'll have to miss out part of the game. If I return the game there is every chance, judging from what I'm reading online, that the replacement will also be faulty. I wont get money back on the trap team accessories I bought, so basically all my son's presents are useless. This is completely infuriating and immoral on the part of Nintendo, who should withdraw the game until this problem is resolved.

Bought for my 7 year old's birthday and he hasn't stopped playing it since. All his friends have this too so they enjoy playing them together and sharing the different characters to open different worlds. It is difficult for me to comment as I usually glaze over when my son talks incessantly about this game but that must be a good sign. There is a huge array of new characters you can buy (at extortionate prices sometimes) so this is something my son can build on with gifts from others. It also works with the Swap Force game characters - I bought this at the same time as together they were a decent price.

My son absolutely loved this product. We actually bought it for my nephew for Christmas but he was given two of the same item so he very kindly gave it to my son in the middle of January (unopened). Sadly, last weekend, the disk stopped working and kept showing an error message. We've tried to work out what the problem is, but none of our efforts have borne fruit, and we've just missed out on the window for returning the product. Such a shame as my son was enjoying playing with it so much.

Game works fine but one of the included figures does not work on the portal making the two player option not possible.

We bought this game for my 5 year old son for Christmas and the whole family is hooked. Good job really as unfortunately 3 days after playing it we reached the level where the game freezes (trying to defeat the Dreamcatcher) My heart sank. I'd read the reviews for this game and hoped that Activision wouldn't be supplying faulty discs any more but apparently not. My son was devastated but after visiting the Activision website we discovered that if you complete the level really quickly without stopping to collect any of the extra bits then its possible to avoid the fault. Unfortunately my son wouldn't have been able to do this so I had to reluctantly take the controls and complete it for him. Apart from that, its a brilliant game and is actually helping my son read as he reads the name of the characters and tries to read the dialogue with the characters.

My eight year old already has Skylanders Swap Force so was eager to get his hands on Trap Team. He loves it and has been playing it none stop since it arrived. He hasn't experienced the glitches mentioned in other reviews. Only problem is the amount of characters and traps needed. With these add on's it becomes quite a pricey purchase.
