Fantastic fix for dead drill or battery powered tool.
Found a 21 volt battery powered handheld chainsaw in the trash and took it home. Took it apart found this motor was bad and ordered this new one. Works perfectly. And great price.

The perfect replacement motor for my Black & Decker Matrix drill!
This was the perfect fit motor for my Black & Decker Matrix drill! It takes a little work getting the default gear off and putting the B&D one, but then once done it works as good as the original.

It overheated like the stock motor
Worked great but I over heated it and smoked another motor. It was cheap but its not quick to swap them out

The original motor lasted longer
The money I have spent on these was a waste. I could have bought a whole new drill without the trouble of disassembling and reassembling the unit. No one can say I didn't give them a try, but after 4 attempts I have come to realize it's a money trap.

Cure for an expensive lesson
I’m surprised I found a motor to fix my one hand chainsaw. My fault for running it too long and hard without letting it cool. I thought I was going to be throwing away 2 good battery packs and everything else good. I bought another saw but the batteries didn’t fit. (The new saw came with a little carrying case and now is in my ATV or snowcat depending on the season). Replacing the motor was easy and saved me from throwing away a lot of money (85% of investment).
