Measure the outside of the trampoline across its widest point if its 8 foot then that is the size to order. The padding will cover the springs leaving the actual rubber trampoline part fully exposed. **Q: How many springs?** A: I haven’t counted the springs but that isn’t relevant for the protection pad. It’s the diameter measurement that counts for which size protection pad you need. If your trampoline has a 10 ft diameter this pad will fit to perfection, as it did on mine. If your trampoline has a 6ft, 8ft or 12 ft diameter then there is a protection pad to fit the specific size.
