Excellent product, superb service
The product is truly excellent. I have used it on several occasions and it never fails to exceed my expectations. The delivery was slightly late but the wrapping was better than I could have hoped for. I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the service

Better than what it sys on the can
Lots of glowing reviews for this product and after using it I can see why.I have a very old (about 60 year) corrugated asbestos roof on my garage measuring 7.4 metres by 6.5 which had become porous, and cracked. I looked at various options, even replacement but disposing of asbestos, even the fairly innocuous reinforced cement stuff is crazy. The cheapest was to cover with the same profile grp or fibre cement panels but even these would cost around £1000 and then all the bolts would need to be cut off and replaced to allow the covering panels to sit properly adding about another £100 to the price over and above the difficulty of getting into some of the less accessible ones.I had previously coated the roof with bitumen which worked for a couple of years but as it began to crack and flake, the water started to come in again so I was back to square 1, in fact even minus one as I now had a lot of bitumen to remove. I scraped as much off as I could, pressure washed the roof to get it as clean as possible. Bought just the one 5kg tin to try it out and see what coverage I would get. It does say 1 to 2 sq metres per kilogram but in my experience these claims are often exaggerated.I applied it with a cheap 3" brush and it went on a treat. Much easier to apply than I expected after reading some of the reviews and really not that much different from ordinary paint. I applied it generously and then measured the area I had covered. One strip 86 cms wide by 7.4 metres and on the next strip 1 metre wide and I got 3 metres before I ran out of paint so this gives me just slightly over 9sq metres. In fact, if you allow for the corrugations the total surface area covered is likely over 10 sq metres so the claim of 1 to 2 sq metres per kilogram is more than justified. Just managed to get the job finished as, even at 11 am in was getting too hot to apply the paint. That evening it started to rain and has done all night. Not one drop of water anywhere under the bit I have painted which was by far the worst part of the roof.I am mightily impressed with this paint. Time will tell if it is a permanent solution but I will soon be ordering another four tins with discounts for buying quantities about another £100 to complete the job.

Good product, badly packaged for posting.
Just to get the bad things out of the way, my 5KG tin of grey paint arrived upside-down from the "this way up" label. The lid wasn't taped down and had popped open and leaked all over the tin. Thankfully it was wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap but perhaps if the seller can use some tape to really seal the lids down? Seller also dealt with my complaint promptly so credit to them.Onto the product - it's a very thick paint with a fibre filler added to help seal over holes/cracks. I applied this with a paint brush to my damaged felt shed roof, and also to the wooden roof of a chicken house. I have seen some people try and use a roller to apply this, but the brush seems to give a better application & finish with regard to the fibres. The brush spreads and distributes the fibres evenly with the paint, giving a better finish. The paint was slightly tacky-dry after a few hours, but best left 24 hours.I can't tell the long-term results, but the product seem to do a perfect job at repelling the rain. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to repair a shed roof. 5KG will easily cover a large garden shed.

It works and is easy to apply.
I use this every year to coat a flat roof extension . It is easy to apply and does the job. The roof has lasted 35 years so far. It reflects the sun so doesn't get too hot. It's quite thick, I use a large paintbrush and it goes on well.

Messy but does exactly what it says on tge tin
My garage roof was leaking and I'd tried other products to resolve the problem but they all failed..saw this & for the price thought I'd give it a go before I gave up & spent £ thousands on new roof ( again..this one was replaced about 8yrs ago )This product I found during use was best scooped out the tin with a spatula or similar item then spread using a large paint brush ..there's so much fibre mixed in you just can't get it out the tin any other way..& it seemed to work best that way..My garage..flat roof , 5 x 4 m..took just over 1 & 1/3 of a tin and about 1 & a half hrs to complete...job done I left it to dry / set and within 40 min the heavens opened...NO.LEAKS ! ...job done ..£ thousands saved !This product price wise was about half of most others I reviewed before making the decision to try it....says it can be painted on damp surfaces..it can because my roof had ponds of water lying up there that I brushed off prior to starting the job..and was effective pretty much the second it went on !Light grey finish that looks good too and UV resistant so the blog on the tin says...how it lasts long term..? ..we' l have to wait & see on that subject. So far so good..good quality product..does what it says it will do and at very, very competitive price .
