Tefal Easy Soup and Smoothie Maker, 1.2L, 1000W, 5 Programs

I have wanted this item for ages, and finally decided to purchase it, once it was on sale. It is very straight forward to use. It did take a few goes to get the flavour of the soup just right, but once I got the hang of it, the time and effort I am saving is immesurable. I am literally flinging ingredients into the soup maker and pressing start. It is a joy to use. For anyone wondering how to make soup delicious, you need lots of seasonings. In a pinch, a good stock cube, dried herbs, salt, pepper, lemon juice, olive oil are the extra ingredients needed for a decent, quick soup. If you have more time, roasting your vegetables, or browning garlic and onion BEFORE sticking it into the soup maker, makes such a difference, but 9 times out of 10 I am just whacking it all in and letting the Tefal Soup Maker do the job. Yesterdays leftover garlic potatoes or chicken thrown in, makes all the difference too. I am really pleased with both the smoothie function, and the puree function. I have always wanted to be able to make my own apple sauce (which keeps in the fridge for a week, if in an airtight container) and now I can do all of this with one gadget. The only function I am not impressed with, is the "chunky" option (or soup with pieces), as this literally just heats the ingredients up. I thought there would have been a light blending function at the end, so it resembles a soup, but although the items get cooked and soft, the end result is more like a stew. Although, in the Tefal soup makers defence, there is a blend function at your finger tips. As long as you let it blend for one cycle, and pull the plug out 1/3 of the way through, it comes out perfectly. The cleaning function is pretty good, although you will need to wipe down with a cloth in some areas, which is not the end of the world. Some maintenance is required, as with all machinery, and it's very easy to do. The water does spill over the top sometimes, when the cleaning function is running, so my tip is to fill the water under the minimum line (only for cleaning though!) and it reduces this issue. For anyone talking about the machine short-circuiting the electrics in the house - make sure you do not have this plugged into an extension chord! I had this issue with a different make and model (which I returned, not Tefal) and these machines can do this when plugged into an extension chord, or when plugged into a socket that is used by a large appliance. Try to keep the plug socket free from other devices, and this should resolve this issue. I have bought toastie makers, waffle makers, rice cookers, air fryers, but this soup maker is the only one I am consistently using on the regular. So happy with my purchase. I hope it lasts for a long time.

After getting a suggestion from one of my friends, I started eating more vegetables and salad as a starter. To change the taste, I found that I could eat vegetable soup instead. This was a great improvement for my healthy diet, but cooking soup from scratch takes a lot of time. One of my relatives told me about a soup maker and how easy it is to make soup with it. So after a few days of research, I found this Tefal model on offer and bought it. This soup maker makes my life so easy and it cooks all types of soup. I mostly make vegetable soup. Sometimes I add chicken pieces in with the vegetables, but I always make sure to use boneless and cooked chicken pieces to stay safe. I am very happy with it. It even has a smoothie maker option, so that you can use it for cold shakes too. My favourite function is the easy cleaning. It does not clean it completely, but it does the hard work for me. I do a quick final clean myself. I would definitely recommend this product. My soup hasn't burnt once, and that is a miracle.

After a stomach operation I'm on a soup diet for a while. I bought this simply for ease and it does the job well. It also makes great compotes which is a pleasant change. As others have said it is easy and convenient to use, but.. the cleaning function isn't. It simple heats and agitates water you have put in then it needs to be cleaned with a damp cloth. Also, the top does not seal and it is quite common for some contents to escape. Probably because of this the max full line is quite low and assertions here that it would make 4 servings must be for very small people with equally small appetites. As I said it does the job, a few simple changes would make it really good.

I've had 2 soup makers before, both Morphy Richards and both different models - both of them stopped working with the same fault which was the blender stopped working - just as the guarantee expired! Looking at reviews, it seems as though this is a common fault, so please be warned. As for the Tefal, I couldn't be more pleased and wish I had purchased this years ago, not only does it look better than my previous models, it is quieter, blends to perfection and the soup tastes great. I've not used it for the other functions as I have machines for those, but this really is simplicity itself. I always add the cold water first, as this stops the bottom getting tarnished, then add my ingredients and a stock cube, switch on, and 20 minutes later I have a gorgeous soup, it beeps to let you know it's finished, Then it automatically switches to the 'keep warm' facility, which is great if you are busy. Clean up is a breeze, I just pop some warm soapy water inside and clean with a sponge, the lidded part with the paddle is easily rinsed clean. I got this when it was on offer for £54.00, I definitely wouldn't pay any more. My previous models were also around that price. I can genuinely say, this is a great addition to the kitchen, and if you like soup, you'll enjoy it, even more knowing you can chuck basically anything in it and it will be ready within half an hour - all fresh and healthy. Great buy - highly recommend💝💝💝

Good equipment to have. Easy to use and make delicious soup. For me only downside was it being a bit larger than expected for storage

This is an excellent piece of kit. I've used it for a couple of months and found it produces excellent soup - there is nothing to go wrong! The recipe book is very helpful and gives a wide range of soups, smoothies, etc. Easy to use. Chop up the bits and pieces, add whatever is necessary, switch on and go away for some 25 minutes of so. No longer the need to be standing over hot pans stirring away. My only negative observation - and this is not a complaint for this is just the way it is - cleaning is awkward. The top part is difficult and unwieldy to hold. It is quite heavy, as one would expect for all the working bits are here - and keeping the electrical contacts out of the water makes it a bit of a fiddle. The self-cleaning option is a bit of a joke, I must admit, as with some soups the whole of the inside needs a good clean. However, one would not expect this option to do a full job of cleaning, but it is useful if a quick rinse round [for that is basically all it does] is sufficient for immediate re-use. The handle on the top can mislead if one forgets, for it does not lift up the whole unit, just the top section. All in all I am delighted with this addition to the kitchen and can highly recommend it. i bought mine when there was a substantial discount, which made it even more attractive.

Ayrıca çorbaya konulabilecek şey sayısı sınırlı, çünkü kolayca dibi tutuyor ve bozuluyor. Lezzeti de gerçekten çok kötü. Açıkçası memnun kalmadım. İşten yorgun gelince yaparım diye almıştım ama dondurulmuş çorbayı mikrodalgada ısıtmak daha iyi fikir. Tavsiye etmiyorum

I love this but it's dangerous if you don't know thd lid doesn't lick. So if someone just picked up thefy could get burned. As for making soup perfect.

Funziona molto bene e si possono fare anche risotti e minestre di qualsiasi tipo. Molto utile la funzione cleaning, rapida é efficace.
