Considering this is such a basic, simple tin opener, it’s absolutely brilliant, and one of the best that I’ve ever used, if not the best. I have tried many tin openers through the years; some have been expensive and some have been at the cheaper end of the scale, but this is better than all of them. It’s nicely made and feels reasonably robust. The handles are quite soft and have a bit of give to them, so they're comfortable to hold, and don’t hurt your hands. The bit that you turn is chunky and easy to hold, plus it feels sturdy. The cut is excellent, and it’s smooth with no jagged edges.One of the best things for me is that you can open out the tin opener to more than 180 degrees, so it is very simple to not only clean properly, but to dry, too. Very pleased indeed, and happy to recommend.

A kitchen must - forget the cheap supermarket can openers that don’t last 5mins. This is SO easy to use and cuts like a knife to butter. Well worth the price as they are built to last. Don’t look further, buy them. You won’t regret it

Exellent opener, easy to use good for weak hands. Love the soft handles, positive action on use. It can be fully oped up to clean it and the action goes thru cans like a knife thru butter. As stated, the best opener on the market especially for the price. No gimmicks etc. 10 out of 10. Great design, safe. My only beef is the lid of the can if allowed to fall in the product can be awkward to remove, just leave a bit of the lid attached to the can and use the squared bit of the opener to lift it, simple

Good solid Oxo opens tins easily has good gripping comfortable handles and I've had two neither of which have gone rusty and both work well the second of which i gave away to a family member. I think they are durable and are built to last.
