Farm Hullabaloo! Ladybird Big Noisy Book: (Sound Books)

Perfect gift for a 1year old. Easy to press buttons, animal sounds loud and clear. Great price too

This arrived yesterday and is a gift for my 15mo granddaughter who will love it. The illustrations are bright and eye catching and there is just enough text to hold her interest when the book is being read to her. Most of all, I'm sure she will love the realistic and and quite loud animal noises.The Noisy Dinosaurs, an Usborne book which I'd ordered at the same time, and was the first to arrive, was a huge disappointment - Noisy these dinosaurs are not! I accept the sounds had to be imagined but they are indistinct and unidentifiable rustling and munching. They sound like someone scrunching paper! To say my heart sank is an understatement but when Farm Hullaballoo arrived I was absolutely delighted with it!

18 month old farm mad son loves this book. He can take all the farm sounds from outside the house, inside the house! Each page consists of a bit of back ground information about the farm/animals and what the farmer,staff,animals,vehicles are doing in the picure, our son loves turning the pages and pressing the buttons then trying to copy the sounds himself which is good for his speech/vocab. Great thing is new batteries can be installed if the batteries get tired, unlike some sound books that only work for so long, so this book will last, it can be passed on in time or younger brothers and sisters can enjoy it too. It's also given us adults a good read too, spotting the errors in the pictures. It's a childrens book, it's educational, bright, noisy, fun and they love it. Great book!

Bought for my grandson, his mum tells me he loves it and likes the tractor on the front and the cow moo.

Ordered this for my two year old kid. Getting toys/books in English language in netherlands is a huge problem. So i ordered a number of them from Amazon uk, among them 2 ladybird books- farm hullabullo and dig it build it.The books are very sturdy and colorful. Sound volume is just right: neither to loud not too low. I just wish it was possible to play out some definitive words ( e.g. names of farm animals, building material, tools etc.english is 2nd language for us so would have been very helpful) after the child presses on them. Recommended.

with my 3 year old grandson.. he likes the tractor noise, I like the pigs. really strong made book.
