The 3mm and the 5mm LEDs have the same lead lengths (which are pretty standard across different manufactures). The longer leg is 18mm from the body to the end of the leg, and the shorter leg is 16.4mm. I hope that this helps.

There are no mA values given in the kit leaflet, only voltages. White 3.5 to 4v, Rrd 2 to 2.5v, Blue 3.5 to 4v, Yellow 2 to 2.5v and Green 3.6 to 4v. If you go to www.elegoo.com web site then to download, scroll down untill picture of this led kit and download zip file of pdf's you get data sheet for each LED. In general max power 50 to 80mW, max forward current if 20mA, max reverse voltage 5 v, max peak current ip 60 to 200mA dependant upon the LED in question see data sheets as they vary. Mark

What is the forward volage drop for the 3mm leds?

The forward voltage drop for the 3mm LEDs varies depending upon the colour. It does tell you the values in the supplied box. However to help they are as follows: White 3.0 - 3.4 Red 1.8 - 2.4 Blue 3.0 - 3.4 Yellow 2.0 - 2.2 Green 3.0 - 3.4 These are all at 20mA. Note the 5mm size have a different forward voltage drop as do the diffused 5mm size.
