Fits a little snug on .you Kitchen Aid Artisan tilt mixer. I wish it had about an inch of extra room so I wouldn't have to struggle to fit it on my mixer. It is very well made though.

I have had my KitchenAid stand mixer for a number of years now, but never thought or even knew that KitchenAid made a cover for it. On a recent Prime Day, I came across the cover, also in Empire Red, and decided that my beautiful, faithful, hardworking mixer deserved a cover. I found it for a great price on a recent Prime Day, so it was...why not? When the cover arrived, I could tell it was quality. The fabric is heavy and quilted with reinforced stitching and it fits like a glove. It is almost as if my mixer stood for a fitting! I immediately tried to pull the entire cover down over the mixer, but that was not happening. I could not slip the cover over the protrusion of the attachment knob. So I unzipped the zipper, which stretches almost up the entire back of the mixer, and then pulled the cover over the mixer and zipped it back up. Eureka! Success...it worked like a charm as did the nylon zipper I might add. There is a pocket on the outside to tuck in the bread hook and other mixing blade, but I keep mine in the bowl. My mixer now looks relaxed and peaceful in her new 100% cotton coveralls! She sits on a shelf in the pantry where the door is constantly opened and closed. This will offer dust protection and keep her clean while she is resting; I could not be happier. I highly recommend this cover for your tilt-top KitchenAid stand mixer.
