Bought this battery to replace an original Nikon battery that had seen better days and would no longer hold a charge.I read the reviews and decided to buy this battery as so many people appeared to be pleased with it and the price, a fraction of the same Nikon battery. I charged the battery in the original Nikon battery charger no problem. I am using this battery now with excellent results and looking forward to the spring when I can get out more.I have just ordered a second battery as a backup for the summer when I visit steam engine rallies.Well worth the money.

I never now where to stand with non-genuine batteries since a near miss with a Nokia battery.Anyway, so far this one seems to be very good, been on a holiday with me, seemed to last for the amount of pictures I normally take.will be interested to see how long it lasts, the genuine Nikon one it replaces lasted for a year and a half, and this cost a fraction of the price.Very happy so far!

Needed a spare battery for my camera and wanted a good alternative to the Nikon original, this one fills the bill, works very well, keeps it's charge and a sensible price. Very pleased and would recommend.

3rd party product. It doesn’t last half the length of my Nikon battery. However the price is a big difference. It doesn’t stop me using it on my battery grip. Handy back up.

Works correctly in my Nikon camera and charger, it may not last quite as long as the genuine article but if all you do is use it whilst the genuine battery is charging then it's a great back-up battery. A fraction of the price of a genuine Nikon battery.

I bought one of these batteries from Com2Save here on Amazon and it was faulty and wouldn't charge fully. The company replaced it very promptly and without quibble. Full marks to them.The second battery works fine so far but it has only been used for three days so if it fails to survive the test of time I'll have to amend this review later.I tested the battery in a Nikon D7000 camera by shooting continual 20-minute video sequences interspersed with occasional stills shots. The camera has no problem recognising the battery and displays an accurate percentage remaining as the battery depletes. It also shows the correct number of shots taken.On first charge the battery shot 49 minutes of video but after four charge/discharge cyles this had increased to 85 minutes (compared to the 134 minutes of a genuine Nikon battery used in the same test conditions). It's normal for lithium-ion batteries to take time to bed in so this didn't bother me.The battery did not get unduly hot while charging or while shooting continuous video and varied only 1 degree C from a Nikon battery. Bearing in mind that this battery costs less than a fifth of the price of the genuine article it represents great value for money as a backup battery but until I have tested it further I wouldn't use it as a primary power source.EDIT IN FEB 2016=============Having now cycled through this battery twice while taking stills over a two month period I can report that it performs around half as well as a genuine Nikon battery in terms of pictures taken. I have no reason to modify my original rating or the conclusion that it makes a good backup battery but its not equivalent to a Nikon original.

It may be too early to make an assessment of this battery as it has only recently arrived. It has been fully charged and in current use. Although perceived advice is to only buy Nikon, but at the price this is a risk well worth taking.It arrived well packed and on time in a package small enough to fit through the letter box.

Initial charging and use was ok. After three charges the battery performs at 50% of a genuine Nikon EN-EL15a battery with D810 camera. Since the last full charge the battery was not used for three weeks. Without use and not loaded in camera it had discharged 90% of its power. It is certainly not a reliable source of power for a days shoot or serious photography work. The battery is heading for the bin.
