Yes there are small bits of bacon. This is very popular when we are camping!

What’s the expiry date on these?

The expiry date changes every time there is new stock delivered, the one I bought a few years back had a very long expiry date. If you want to know the expiry of the latest stock, then you will need to contact the supplier. The mash is lovely by the way.

Use by dates on packets

The use by date and batch number are clearly shown on the box and packs I purchase. Look on the back of the pack lower down. If your box/packs fail to show a date I guess it is not produced by the original manufacturer.

Thats impossible to answer as each batch is different. However when i bought mine they had over 12 months bbf, plus as its a dried product and sealed it would last years.

An excellent addition to a meal

I love Idahoan mash - apparently the potatoes are grown in what was volcanic soil. I have loads of food intolerances and I rely on this brand for delicious and versatile additions to my meals. Excellent value for money. Faultless reconstitution and delicious flavours. . Easy to make and after stirring a smooth texture for me the quality is excellent

Tasty. Season to taste.

So easy to use. Convenient and a great taste.I purchased this to make life easy when time is short.It just takes moments to prepare. I need to season it with a little salt but of course that is my choice.Saying that, if they had made it too salty you couldn’t remove it but this way you can season to taste.If you love potato I believe you will love this.

Easy to make. Really good product. I use it a lot. When I have used it for visitors they are surprised it comes out of a packet as it's so good.Could be a bit more cheesy in flavour.
