Very loose on my 8 year old daughter even with the strap done up fully on last hole

It does not have dual time on the same clock-face. But you can shange your home city time to any of the world city times. The watch also has 3 different local times. I guess it was made with the US in mind.

Does it have a count down function using seconds

Hi, Yeah it ha a timer on it, so you can use that as a counting down timer in seconds, minutes and hours. Hope that helped.

Does casio ae-2100w-1av watch have a metal bezel around outside like casio 2000w-1av version ??

It has a metal ring on top side. The bezel looks plastic.
